Boba Fett made an appearance in the Disney+ series, ‘The Mandalorian’

Although this character was noticeably absent from the first season of this series, Boba Fett returned to the galaxy far, far away with season 2 of The Mandalorian. Boba Fett first came into contact with the bounty hunter after finding his beskar armor, left to him by his father Jango Fett.

He and the Mandalorian didn’t exactly get along when they first met, but they eventually made a deal. Boba Fett would keep the Mandalorian and his Child safe and in exchange, he’d get his armor back. This partnership, of course, came in handy when Moff Gideon kidnapped little Grogu.

There was an after-credits scene starring Boba Fett in ‘The Mandalorian’

Sure, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 taking the Child was a pretty emotional moment, but The Mandalorian season 2 finale included another surprising clip after the credits. In it, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand raided one of the Hutt’s palaces.

They let his slave go before Boba Fett took the throne. His companion stood right beside him, with the title of another series later appearing on the screen. The Book of Boba Fett is expected to premiere during December 2021, around the same time season 3 of The Mandalorian is expected to release on Disney’s streaming platform.

Will Boba Fett be in season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian?’

The Mandalorian is confirmed for a third season, which is good news for Disney+ subscribers. However, most of the details surrounding upcoming episodes of this series are still unclear. That includes the returning cast members and the story. Will Baby Yoda be reunited with his bounty hunter companion?

So far, the only cast member fans can expect to return is the Mandalorian, portrayed by Pedro Pascal. There’s no word regarding if Boba Fett will reunite with his bounty hunter ally, as his part of the bargain has been fulfilled.

Disney also announced its plan to release other exclusive television shows on its streaming platform. That includes Star Wars: Rangers Of The New Republic, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka, which tells the story of one character featured in The Mandalorian

There’s also the highly anticipated series featuring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and future seasons of The Mandalorian expected to premiere on Disney’s subscription service.
