Kevin James, 56, is an American actor and comedian.
Born in New York, Kevin went on to claim the number one spot in his high school wrestling team, just ahead of future pro Mick Foley.
After a stint on the varsity football team at the State University of New York at Cortland, Kevin suffered an injury and called it quits on his sporting career.
He turned to stand-up comedy in 1989 and then shot to fame following appearances on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Late Show With David Letterman, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
His TV career then saw him appear on The New Candid Camera, MTV sports game show SandBlast, and hit CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.
From here, Kevin landed his very own sitcom, The King Of Queens, which ran from 1998 to 2007 and saw him nominated for several awards.
He also starred in the sitcom Kevin Can Wait in 2016, and Netflix show The Crew.
After a cameo in 50 First Dates in 2004, his big screen moments include co-starring with Adam Sandler in I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, appearing in comedy Grown Ups with numerous Saturday Night Live alumni, and having a lead role with Vince Vaughn in comedy-drama The Dilemma.

The eldest, Sienna-Marie, was born in 2005, followed by Shea Joelle in 2007.

Kevin has said he "just loves being a dad", and joked that his kids provide excellent comedic material.
He told People: "Honestly, they all come in with their home runs [jokes].
