LOVE Island has helped couples get to know each other in the villa and what better way to do that than for them to meet each others’ parents.
It has been a long tradition of the ITV2 reality series to invite the contestants’ folks to Spain but when will the episode air? Find out more below.
When will the parents enter the Love Island villa?
The stars of Love Island 2019 have just days until the grand finale – Monday, July 29, 2019.
And on July 26, it was confirmed that the famous “meet the parents” episode was expected to air on July 28.
In the past, the parents have entered the villa during episode 42, however, this changed last year, as the episode took place in the week of the grand finale.
Islanders in 2018 met their potential in-laws in the penultimate episode, and for the show's fifth series, producers have decided to stick with the format.
Which family members are heading into the villa?
The Sun exclusively revealed that the Islanders had been surprised by their loved ones on July 26.
Molly-Mae Hague's sister and mum headed into the villa alongside Amber Gill's mum and dad.
Tommy Fury was reunited with his mother and brother – but it wasn't the sibling fans would have hoped to see (Tyson).
Elsewhere, Anton was joined by his mother – who we know is an expert at shaving his bum – while his doting partner Belle Hassan was greeted by her famous dad Tamer Hassan and mum Karen.
It's still unclear which family member surprised Curis, Maura, Ovie and India, so you'll have to tune in on Sunday to find out.
What have the parents of Love Island 2019 stars had to say about their offspring?
Amber Gill's mum reportedly contacted the welfare team at ITV for support after her daughter received dozens of abusive and racist messages online.
Martin Tweedy, who is managing the reality star's social media accounts, shared screenshots of some of the nasty messages she has received since joining the series.
He wrote: "So I totally get that people may not get Amber, or she may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but looking after her social, I’m having to deal with these kinds of messages daily.
"I’ve been collating screenshots to run a story in the papers later in the week, but have really enjoyed trolling the trolls by doing a little digging, finding these little s***s’ parents profiles, schools, etc. and dropping them e-mails with screenshots of their little angels online messages.
"This is NOT ok. Although she’s on Love Island, she’s got feelings just like everyone else. I’d have thought that in light of what’s happened in the last year that people may have given online bullying and cyber trolling a hit on the head, but obviously not.
"All of the following screenshots are from within a 24 hour period and have all been reported to IG for bullying and harassment – some for racial hate speech also."
Elsewhere, Curtis Pritchard's mother Debi, who is a dance and fitness teacher, has retweeted several posts complimenting her youngest son.
She shared one in which Strictly's Neil Jones joked: "Wow even I want to couple up with Curtis" and another claiming the professional dance is "wingman goals".
Meanwhile, Amy Hart's folks have admitted they are saddened to see the former air hostess so upset about Curtis.
In an interview on This Morning, Amy's mum Sue said: "I haven't really been able to watch Curtis talking to Jourdan [Riane] or talking about Amy.
"I've been fast-forwarding those bits."
She added: "She's never had a serious relationship and suddenly she's met this guy, she really likes him.
"In one single day she's admitted she's fallen in love with him so she's fallen in love and been heartbroken in one day."
When is the final of Love Island on ITV2?
The final of Love Island is taking place on Monday, July 29.

The final four couples will be in with a chance of winning £50,000.
