When does the new series of Escape to the Chateau start on Channel 4?

ESCAPE to the Chateau is on the horizon and will make its return to Channel 4 but when exactly will it be back?

When does the new series of Escape to the Chateau start? 

It's been confirmed that the Strawbridges will make their return to Channel 4 on Sunday, October 24 at 8pm.

Viewers will also be pleased to hear that the series finale, airing on December 12, will be an extra magical festive special.

In the new episodes, viewers will see Dick and Angel bite the bullet and make the huge decision to tackle the roof and outside walls of their Chateau.

Viewers will also get a first look at the Strawbridge Suite, which has finished its newly done make-over.

Elsewhere, they will also get to see the couples’ two children Arthur and Dorothy, and how they have grown up since the cameras were last at the Chateau.

What is Escape to the Chateau about?

Escape to the Chateau is a Channel 4 reality TV series.

It follows the story of couple Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree along with their family as they buy and renovate the 19th-century Château de la Motte-Husson in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France.

Eash season continues their story as they grow their special events business while proceeding to do more renovations.

It also documents the family events and milestones which they go through.

Who's in the Escape to the Chateau cast? 

The series follows British engineer Dick Strawbridge and his partner Angel.

Tracy Ann Oberman is the narrator on Escape to the Chateau.

Tracy will be familiar to fans from her extensive work as an actress.

The London-born actress has been in many roles since 1997 in films, TV, and other voice-over work.

She is best known for Friday Night Dinner 2011, Toast of London 2012 and Doctor Who 2005. 

Where is Escape to the Chateau filmed? 

The Château de la Motte-Husson is a Neo-Renaissance style château.

It is located in the small market town of Martigné-sur-Mayenne, in the Mayenne department of France.
