The countdown until we can watch season 3 of The Crown is almost over, with the latest instalment of the show due to land on Netflix today.
This third instalment of the hit series sees Oscar winner Olivia Colman taking over from Golden Globe winner Claire Foy to play Queen Elizabeth, and offers a fictionalised account of real-life events centring around the Royal Family between 1964 and 1977.
As we get closer and closer to the release of the season, here’s exactly what time the third season of The Crown will be available to stream on Netflix.
What time does The Crown season 3 come out on Netflix?
Season 3 of The Crown will be landing at 8am on Sunday, 17 November.
To tune in to the whole season, all you need is a Netflix subscription.
The streaming giant is also offering fans the chance to watch episode one of season 3 for free.
All you’ll need to do is go to netflix.com/thecrown when the episode is released – no subscription necessary.
Anyone out there who’s new to Netflix can also set up an account and reap the benefits of the one-month free trial offered by the company.
A spokesperson for Netflix told Yahoo Movies: ‘The Crown has become a globally renowned British success story since it first launched on Netflix three years ago.
‘We want to give as many people as possible a flavour of the great content Netflix is creating here in the UK, by offering the first instalment of the new series without signing up.
‘Until December 15, anyone can watch episode one simply by visiting netflix.com/thecrown.’
On the subject of how she prepared to play the Queen, Olivia told Graham Norton on the set of his chat show: ‘I did nothing, though I did have a movement coach, but still I walked like me, or rather like a farmer!’
Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Princess Margaret in The Crown season 3 and joined Olivia on Graham’s red sofa, quipped: ‘I do everything to prepare and Olivia does nothing, and she ends up being completely brilliant.’
As if we weren’t excited about the new series enough as it is!
