In the hours leading up to the much-anticipated series finale of the popular crime drama Line of Duty, co-star Vicky McClure shared a hilarious video with her fans on Sunday.
The actress, who plays Detective Inspector Kate Fleming in the hit BBC show, shared the behind-the-scenes footage of her friendly banter with co-stars Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar.
The video showed the trio enjoying a sing-along together while on set featuring the famous subway covered in graffiti behind them – a popular meet up spot for AC-12 workers on the show.
The group were filmed laughing and singing to a familiar tune, which has now become an inside joke for the cast, in between takes showing the close bond the three have grown together over the last ten years of working together.
Vicky captioned the video: “Best mates!” as Martin, who plays DS Steve Arnott, and Adrian, who plays Superintendent Ted Hastings, all sang together in earnest.
Taking to Twitter she then wrote: "HAPPY LINE OF DUTY DAY!!!
"Please excuse the slightly over emotional post but it’s been quite a surreal time!
"The audience support has been unreal, the creativity of merchandise, the artwork, ground breaking viewing figures and the hype!!
"It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to be a part of Line of Duty, not just because of the success of the show but the life long friendships we’ve all gained."

Former star Craig Parkinson revealed exclusively to OK! Online how close the cast and crew have become since they first started the show back in 2012.
The actor told us: “Prior to season one of Line of Duty, myself and Martin had done two or three independent films together, so we were firm friends.“And everybody’s just like a family. I still speak with Lennie James; I was on the phone to Neil Morrissey two days ago. We’re all still there."
Fans of the show have been following Craig,45, closely for any slight inkling of a hint as to who the mysterious crime boss known as ‘H’ could be.
This comes after fans of the crime drama unearthed a telling interview Craig took on This Morning which fans have become convinced is his way of subtly saying that Vicky McClure, who plays Kate Fleming, could be H.
On the popular morning talk show, Craig said: “If you haven’t seen the show, it’s going to be really exciting for you and it’s going to be really exciting even if you haven’t seen it, to piece together little clues and little twists here and there.
“And the main thing is, don’t ask anybody about it, don’t listen to anybody about it and above all, don’t trust any of these characters – especially Vicky McClure!”
Speaking with Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show, Craig revealed he had watched the much-anticipated final episode early but refused to share the identity of H.
Craig dished: “I think it’s gonna shock people. I think people are going to be frustrated, it’s exhilarating, it’s exciting … these aren’t soundbites.
"I’ve seen it four times, honestly, and it really stands up to repeat viewing.”
Line of Duty airs Sunday on BBC One at 9pm.
