These are the homes people have been lusting over in 2020

Has anyone else developed a serious obsession with property porn this year?

Blame lockdown. All that time spent cooped up at home has made us lust after all the property that has what our place doesn’t, whether that’s a garden, more space, or distance from our neighbours.

And so we’ve been longingly staring at properties up for sale, dreaming of what our lives would be like if we could afford them.

So it’s not surprising that Rightmove’s most-viewed properties of 2020 are rather grand.

The property website has revealed the five houses on their site that have been viewed the most this year, and they’re all massive.

Rightmove’s Director of Property Data Tim Bannister said: ‘We’ve seen many new trends unfold this year as home-movers have reassessed their housing needs and reprioritised what’s important to them.

‘However, one thing that’s remained constant is the nation’s curiosity to look inside the most amazing homes currently on the market and there’s no mistaking that these five properties are the crème de la crème this year.

‘Although what’s really interesting about this year’s annual round-up is that there aren’t any penthouse apartments in the list, which reflects a national trend of people wanting more space – both when they’re browsing dream homes as well as when they’re searching Rightmove for something a little more affordable.’

Shall we have a look at the house people have been most interested in, then?
