Stuart kills his own dad Jonno in violent EastEnders twist?

Raging Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) has vowed to kill his dad Jonno if he dares to turn up at the wedding of Callum (Tony Clay) and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) in EastEnders. After an altercation with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) in the Vic toilets, Jonno was overpowered but Ben held back on beating him further to protect Halfway.

However, Jonno was soon taking his frustrations out on his youngest son and became violent again, with Callum fearing for his safety. As Jonno revealed his true colours, Stuart interrupted the showdown and slammed Jonno against a wall, telling him that if he ever shows his face again or lays a finger on Callum, then he will kill him.

And boy did he mean it!

We all know what Stuart can be capable of when pushed and Jonno decided it was best to heed Stuart’s words when he tried to put him to the test and Stuart didn’t back down. Banning him from the wedding, Stuart hoped he had seen the last of his dad – but is this really the end of the matter? Or will Jonno return to cause more trouble, leading to Stuart seeing through his violent threat?

Another person keen to defend Callum was Ben, who spoke to him about what it’s like to have a father who makes you feel ashamed of who you are. As Callum apologised, Ben affectionately reassured him and tenderly kissed his cheek while holding his hand.

Callum didn’t resist and appreciated the comfort this brought him but as Ben walked away from the conversation, leaving Callum in more turmoil than ever, Stuart was watching from afar with a look of shock on his face.

But when he confronts Callum over what he saw, will Callum come clean to his brother about his true feelings? Or will he lie to Stuart – and himself?
