Strictlys Will Mellor put tracker on daughters phone after filming crime doc

Strictly Come Dancing finalist Will Mellor has admitted to putting a tracker on his daughter's phone after working on his latest TV project.

Will took to ITV's Lorraine to discuss his upcoming true crime series, Cops Who Kill, where he will be joined by experts to investigate killer cops, including Wayne Couzens.

In the show, he explores the devious way perpetrators use their extensive police training to prey on their victims, leaving Will feeling "physically sick", especially in light of Sarah Everard's murder.

The 46-year-old explained why he went to the extreme lengths of tracking his daughter's phone.

"We told her that it wasn't because we don't trust her, it's just so we know where you are and can help," he told presenter Lorraine Kelly.
