Strictly's Katie McGlynn hits back after fans 'spot signs' she’s 'not getting along' with Gorka

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Katie McGlynn has hit back after fans claimed they spotted signs she wasn’t getting along with her dance partner Gorka Marquez.

The pair wowed fans with their jive on Saturday night, but some spotted they may not have found their groove off the dance floor just yet.

Today, the Hollyoaks actress made it clear that everything was just fine as she commented on his latest picture, writing:  "We've got this!!! Thanks for being the best partner and bring on MOVIE WEEK!!"

Gorka had been left gutted after the pair found themselves in the bottom two.

He shared a picture of himself dancing with Katie and commented:  "Well… that was intense.

"Not the best feeling to be in the dance off but I couldn't be prouder of you @katiemcglynn and how you gave your everything on that dance floor. Sorry to see @mr_njonesofficial and @nina.wadia leave, they had so much to give to the show."

He added:  "Thank you to everybody who voted and supported us, it means the world. We'll keep working hard and giving our best. And to those who think that we aren't getting on, keep thinking it [thumbs up and crying laughing emois]."

After Saturday night’s show viewers took to social media to point out "tension" between Katie, 28, and Gorka, 31, both on the show and on their respective social media accounts.

Fans noted that Spanish star Gorka looked glum in posts made by the soap actress before the live show as they prepared for their second dance.

It came after the pair appeared to have disagreed over the amount of time that Hollyoaks star Katie spent rehearsing as she skipped dancing for filming.

She was spotted in Liverpool filming for Hollyoaks as Gorka snided ahead of their dance that they had "no hours to train".

"If you achieve what you do with no experience and no hours to train, I can't wait to see the rest," the professional dancer told her last week.

Despite their jive wowing the judges, fans couldn't help but notice how the tension continued after their second dance.

Taking to Twitter after their jive, one viewer said of them standing beside each other: "Gorka and Katie DO NOT like each other."

While a second said: "Gorka looked really annoyed and Katie was barely even clapping, I though they seemed off with each other last week."
