Stacey (Lacey Turner) decides to bring Jean (Gillian Wright) home from hospital in upcoming EastEnders episodes, but it soon becomes clear that looking after her mum is going to be a bigger challenge than she expected.
While visiting Jean, Stacey witnesses an unpleasant incident involving her mum and another patient and she worries that Jean is having a hard time in the hospital. She makes the tough decision to bring her home and care for her herself.
With all the best intentions, is Stacey ready for the difficulties involved in looking after Jean? Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Eve (Heather Peace) are certainly concerned when they find out that Jean is back at home with Stacey.
When Stacey invites Harvey (Ross Boatman) round to visit he makes an excuse and its obvious he isn’t going to be any help.

A mental health nurse arrives to assess Jean. Will they be able to offer any help, or will Stacey have to struggle on alone?
