Sara Davies and Tom Fletcher have both proved to be a hit with the Strictly Come Dancing judges and viewers with neither having taken part in a dance-off so far. However, this could be set to change this weekend as new elimination evidence from digital marketing agency Mediaworks suggest the Dragon’s Den star and McFly frontman will dance again.

Mediaworks uses social sentiment analysis to predict the outcome of the weekend’s voting.

The analysis looks at whether people are being discussed positively or negatively on social media.

From October 16 to October 28, Sara and Tom find themselves at the bottom of the sentiment chart.

Sara and Aljaž Škorjanec were placed second from the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard last week.

If they fail to please the judges for a second week in a row, they may not be able to rely on the public vote.

Meanwhile, Tom and Amy Dowden finished Saturday in fifth place on the leaderboard.

Even if they repeat their success on Saturday, they could find themselves in danger.

Despite finishing in sixth position Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu had to perform again in the dance-off on Sunday.

This shocking result proves how important it is for the public to vote for their favourite regardless of where they finish on the leaderboard.

Sara and Aljaž will perform a Couple’s Choice to Whitney Houston’s Queen Of The Night.

While Tom and Amy take on the Tango to AC/DC’s Highway To Hell.

Will the McFly singer and Dragon’s Den star perform their routines again for a chance to stay in the competition?

At the other end of the scale, Rose Alying-Ellis and AJ Odudu may have sealed their spots in the final.

The EastEnders actress narrowly comes out on top but Rose and the TV presenter are split by just 0.02.

Meanwhile, Adam Peaty has soared in popularity and could prove to be the underdog finalist of the series.

The digital marketing agency uses AI technology to analyse the most recent 1,000 tweets relating to the remaining Strictly contestants.

A score is assigned to each contestant each week based on the new tweets.

Elsewhere, Mediaworks analyses the contestants’ follower growth on Instagram.

In the last week, Tilly Ramsay has gained 70,329 followers which is almost double Rose’s new 36,812 followers.

However, the EastEnders actress has the highest proportionate growth as her following grew by almost a third since last Friday.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday at 7.15pm.
