OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has posted a heart-breaking tribute after a family friend died of cancer.
Amanda took to Twitter earlier this week to pay her respects after her friend Debbie North revealed her husband Andy had passed away following a short battle with cancer.
Underneath the picture Debbie had shared of a smiling Andy out walking in the hills, Amanda wrote: "We will all miss @SidekickAndy Debs. Big love from us all."
She finished her tweet with a crying emoji and two hearts.
Today, Amanda was still in reflective mode and shared some sweet pictures of her children plodding around the edge of a lake in the sunshine.
She wrote: "Time for reflection. #Yorkshire #peaceful #tranquil #mindfullness #quiet #wildswim #yorkshire #countryside #nature."
She then added a couple more and wrote: "Dipping your toe in the water."
Meanwhile, Amanda was recently left "choking" after making a bombshell decision about the family home.
The shepherdess and her husband Clive, 66, live on Ravenseat Farm with their nine children, and a whole host of animal family members.
But it's not all been smooth sailing for Amanda, 46, who opened up about the troubles of being tenants rather than owners of the huge farm.
In her book The Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess, the mother-of-nine detailed the difficulties of purchasing a farmhouse of their own.
She revealed how she "nearly choked" when the family received a tantalising offer to buy one of their own properties in exchange.
Our Yorkshire Farm airs on Channel 5.
