Harris arrives in Matrix 4 playing a brand new character in the series. The actor has now praised Wachowski for her directing prowess in the franchise, which she returns to after directing the previous three films. Speaking in an interview, Harris revealed: “It didn’t feel large because it felt like she was in her sweet spot, which was filming on the fly, filming using natural light.”
Going on to comment on filming the long-awaited sequel, Harris added: “Sometimes you’d sit around for an hour waiting for the clouds to clear.
“Then you’d quickly film. You’d film pages at a time in 30 minutes and then be done.”
Wachowski returns as director after the original trilogy came to an end in 2003 with The Matrix: Revolutions.
The 47-year-old went on to comment on the cinematic scale of Matrix 4.
Harris said: “You would think that a giant movie would be 100 percent storyboarded, animatics, and we’d be checking off shots.
“I think she lived that before three times over, and I would suspect that she wants to do things her own way now.”
He added: “It wasn’t often that you felt that you were doing something gigantic because she made it feel very intimate.”
The plot of Matrix 4 is still a mystery, but Harris’ character will likely play a big part in the film, including battling against the malevolent machines and even the devilish Agent Smith.

Matrix 4 also brings both Neo (played by Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie-Ann Moss) back into the story.
However, both of these characters’ returns creates quite the mystery for filmgoers after they died in the final scenes of the previous movie.
Harris, Reeves and Moss are joined by newcomers to the series Priyanka Chopra and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
While their characters have not been given any details just yet, the title of the film was “leaked” last month.

Following a Matrix 4 wrap party an image surfaced online showing a thank you note from Wachowski.
The note addressed from the director and her assistant director, James McTeigue, thanked the cast and crew for their work “during these extraordinary times”.
The note also revealed the alleged logo for the new movie which reads: The Matrix: Resurrections.
Considering both Neo and Trinity were killed off in the previous film, the resurrections title may be referring to their return.
Neo actor Keanu spoke up last year on why he returned to the series after so long.
Speaking to Empire Magazine, Keanu said: “Lana Wachowski wrote a beautiful script and a wonderful story that resonated with me.
“That’s the only reason to do it. To work with her again is just amazing. It’s been really special.
“The story has, I think, some meaningful things to say, and that we can take some nourishment from.”
Matrix 4 is due out in cinemas this year.
