Another season of Little People, Big World is in the books, and no one could have seen that ending coming. We now know that Amy Roloff chose to sell her portion of Roloff Farms to Matt after spending the majority of the season unsure of what was the best option for her. And we also saw tensions mounting between the ex-couple as well. While Matt and Amy started their LPBW journey happily married, they divorced several years ago and have been figuring out how to co-exist on the farm property ever since.
Amy’s made it known how she feels about Matt and his relationship with girlfriend Caryn Chandler on the show, but it seems she really spoke her truth in her new memoir, A Little Me. Unfortunately, many think she went way too far.

It’s no secret that Amy and Caryn Chandler don’t get along. Caryn was an employee of Roloff Farms long before she and Matt were dating — and Amy has even gone as far as to say it’s “unhealthy” for her to be around the other woman. Now, we’re getting even more insight thanks to A Little Me — and Amy has made some scathing accusations.
According to Radar Online, Amy explains that the “farm manager” (who we know now is Caryn) had “more than just a working relationship or friendship” with Matt while Amy was still married. “I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people. I was devastated,” Amy went on to write. She then added that she didn’t speak up about it over the years, as she never wanted a divorce to be an option for her and Matt. “I’ve never felt so alone, hurt, and betrayed in my life.”

While Amy’s allegations in A Little Me shocked fans, she also noted that she saw a completely different side of Matt than LPBW viewers were used to seeing. According to Radar Online, Amy wrote about how Matt would belittle her during conversations. “He may not have meant or realized how his words, businesslike attitude, and lack of compassion affected our relationship and me. But they did,” she wrote.
Amy also added that Matt had a difficult time trusting the camera crew and producers of the show, and he would warn Amy against trusting them. ” It would be best if everyone in the family went through Matt about everything, and he would communicate with the production staff on our behalf and take care of everything,” she noted, which definitely gives a controlling vibe that fans never saw while watching the show. “Matt would get upset if, after filming and off camera, I’d be talking to the producers.”

Some are glad Amy’s finally speaking her truth — but it seems not everyone’s happy with what she’s said about her ex-husband. Her followers flocked to her Instagram comments to share what they think. “Amy you should not have slammed your childrens father to the world. Its a private matter it certainly should have been discussed within the family … [sic],” one of her followers commented. And another added, “Too bad she slams Matt – almost bought it before reading that part. I like you both but I don’t agree with that.”
Hopefully, Amy can just focus on all of the positive praise she’s receiving instead. “Amy, good for you to spill the beans on Matt & Caryn! She knew he was married & didn’t turn him away when he started texting etc., she met him at the pub knowing you were at home. So good, they both deserve humiliation! [sic],” one fan commented in support. We’re anxiously awaiting to hear if Matt or Caryn will publicly comment on the accusations, too.
