Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) has sparked a whole lot of speculation amongst EastEnders fans since she first appeared in the soap earlier this year.
And in recent weeks she’s kept viewers guessing even more, growing rather close to the Carter clan since the soap returned to screens on September 7 – getting a job at the Prince Albert as well as striking up a bond with Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright)’s son Ollie.
Rumour has it that Frankie is in fact Mick’s secret daughter – but is this really the case, or could she be making it all up?
Here’s what you need to know…
Is Frankie Mick’s daughter in EastEnders or is she lying?
As Frankie grows closer to the Carter clan – sparking concern from Mick over her behaviour – she’s set to drop the bombshell that she is his secret daughter.
There’s no reason to suggest she isn’t telling the truth – but obviously we’ll just have to see how the storyline plays out in the coming weeks.
Mick’s been left uneasy by her behaviour in recent episodes, discovering she has been taking photos of the Carter clan – and asked her to delete the pictures, claiming Linda wouldn’t be keen on her having them.
However Monday’s episode is set to take things up a notch as Mick discovers Frankie is babysitting Ollie.
After rushing to the park, he confronts her over her evident obsession with his family, but he’s left in shock when she reveals that she believes she’s his daughter.
The question is – how will Linda react when she finds out – as if Frankie’s claims are true that potentially means Mick might have cheated on Linda?
We’ll have to keep watching to see what happens next.
EastEnders continues on Monday night on BBC One at 8pm.
