Richard Madeley became the first contestant to leave the jungle in 2021 after he withdrew.
He abruptly left the series on November 25 and revealed the reason last week.
Returning to his usual slot on Good Morning Britain, he explained he had to leave for medical reasons.
Richard required a doctor’s visit after experiencing some concerning symptoms.
He said he felt that he “got dehydrated”, adding the condition was “actually quite disturbing”.
He said: “I knew I was feeling thirsty, and I’m quite bad at remembering to drink actually.
As he “snuggled into my sleeping bag” he realised he hadn’t “had a big drink in a while”.
When he woke up, he said he was “sitting there babbling” and “talking nonsense”, adding: “I basically woke up I didn’t know where I was”.
Who is left on season 21 of I’m a Celebrity?
With Richard gone, I’m a Celebrity 2021 has another 11 contestants left.
