I'm A Celebrity 2021 – Naughty Boy faces fears AGAIN in fifth trial after Frankie Bridge claims he's getting easy ride

I'M A Celebrity faces a new fix row after fans claimed last night's Bushtucker trial was HARDER on Frankie Bridge than Naughty Boy.

The singer and Naughty Boy were picked by the public to do Scary-oke, which saw them covered in gunge and downing vile drinks.

Frankie burst into tears and was seen shaking following the gruelling task, which saw her gulping blended deer testicles and pork.

Naughty boy, who can only eat Halal meat owing to his Muslim religion, got a concoction of fermented beans, eggs, and blended rotten fruit.

Though the drinks were just as gross and gave off a revolting stench, viewers were convinced Naughty got an easier ride.

WE all know Simon Gregson as Coronation Street's Steve MacDonald, and his wife Emma Gleave also once had a crack at soap acting.

The couple were even introduced by fellow Simon's Corrie co-star – and his on-screen mum – Beverley Callard.

Emma, 38, ran a domestic cleaning business when she first met Simon, 47, but she later appeared in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

Simon, who is currently starring in I'm a Celebrity, previously opened up about meeting Emma, and how Bev, 64, played a major part in that when she brought her along to the Corrie Christmas party.

He revealed: "I was sat in the bath and she was in the bedroom and I asked her, I just knew I wanted to be with her.

“She was so beautiful and we laughed all the time. She brought a lot more laughter into my life and proper friendship, someone you could rely on."

Simon Gregson: ‘I was beaten up & spat on after joining Corrie’

I’M A Celebrity’s Simon Gregson has revealed the shocking abuse he received in the street after joining the cast of Coronation Street.

Opening up to his campmates, the actor said he was physically attacked, spat at and had abuse hollered at him by viewers.

Simon said: “It was difficult for a while to adjust. It’s like, ‘This isn’t what I planned for myself and I do not like it’.”

Shocked, fellow I’m A Celeb star Kadeena Cox asked if he really didn’t like it.

“I hated it!” he said. “The fame side of it, I hated. It was really negative feedback, getting beaten up, spat at, property being damaged.”

As his campmates gasped, Simon added: “It was shocking.”

Simon was then shown talking in the Telegraph, where he said: “I was never a fan of the limelight, but it turned out nice in the end.

“I’m here in a castle eating rice and beans!”

Simon landed the part of Steve McDonald in 1989 and he has played the hapless character ever since.

What was found being sneaked in to the IAC camp?

A source said: “Producers knew that the celebs would try and be a bit tricky on their way in so were well prepared for it.

“They checked everyone’s belongings, coats, pockets – even their socks.

“It was comical how much they found. Everything got confiscated and each of them was given a slap on the wrist and sent on their way.

“Kadeena might look like butter wouldn’t melt, but she was by far the worst offender – packing her stuff with sweets, and other food.

“You can’t knock them for trying. Bosses saw the funny side of it and you can’t blame them given they’ve got at least another week in grim conditions to get through.

“Although it does beg the question how they thought they would get away with it, what with hundreds of cameras all around them watching their every move.”

I’m A Celebrity fans fear Naughty Boy will walk

I'M A Celebrity fans fear that Naughty Boy will walk after he begged viewers not to vote for him in the next trial.

The music producer, 40, and Frankie Bridge, 32, took part in tonight's bushtucker trial Castle Scary-oke.

But now viewers are worried that he might quit because it could push him over the edge.

One wrote on Twitter: "Who thinks Naughty Boy will threaten to walk again tonight."

A second said: "naughty boys face lol he will walk."

"Odds on Naughty Boy threatening to walk again after he does the trial on tomorrows episode," a third chimed in.

RICHARD Madeley has revealed his dramatic weight loss and sparse diet after just four days on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

The 65-year-old star was forced out of the ITV reality show after he fell ill and his hospital dash broke the show's Covid bubble.

Richard explained on Good Morning Britain: "You've got the physicality of it – you are hungry, because we were in the clink all we were getting is rice and beans.

"People think that can't be too bad but it's tasteless – they don't put salt or any kind of seasoning and you don't get much. I was on about 750 calories a day, I've lost at least three pounds.

"If I'd been there two weeks or more…"

    Beale deal

I’M A CELEB’S Adam Woodyatt has been immortalised in a hilarious new 2022 calendar.

Adam, 53, is the BBC soap’s longest serving character and the only original cast member to have appeared continuously since its launch in 1985.

The £14.95 wall calendar features a dozen entertaining photos from his 36 years in Albert Square, including his endless marriages, family dramas and cheesy one-liners.

But the most popular pic shows his toughest time of all – when he became homeless in 2012 after suffering a series of mental health problems and ultimately a breakdown.

  • Shan Ally

EASTENDERS legend Adam Woodyatt has opened up on the real reason he made the shocking decision to leave the BBC soap.

The actor is currently one of 11 campmates on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and was probed by the others on why he left such a popular role.

Adam starred as Walford's resident baddie for 36 years until November 2020, when he had originally planned to take a break from the show.

"I just had another opportunity, there was this play came up and I just fancied doing something different," Adam told Frankie Bridge.

He then revealed the show's bosses had wanted his character to take a pause, which he saw as a chance to leave.

"The way the storyline went, they needed me to take a break and the breaks just got longer."

'I can't relax' says Frankie Bridge

I’M A Celeb star Frankie Bridge has spoken about her obsessive compulsive disorder battle and admitted it took her years to accept she had the condition.

The former Saturdays’ singer, who is putting up with difficult living conditions in Gwrych Castle, said fears over her cleanliness and dirt impact her the most.

She wrote in her 2020 book Open: “I have battled with OCD. I don’t remember having it as a child but as I got older and my depression and anxiety increased, I started to develop all sorts of obsessions. I turned numbers into a digital-clock format in my mind, I counted how many individual lines made up a word or number and how many steps I took on each floor tile.

“I avoided the cracks in the pavement, I counted the space between the street lamps when I was driving and, when I walked anywhere, I always made sure I started off on a certain foot.

“I still have it today. My latest form of OCD involves cleanliness and worrying about germs.

"I can’t relax in certain public places."

Kadeena Cox smuggled in 25 items into camp

DESPERATE I'M A Celeb star Kadeena Cox tried to sneak sneaking as many as 25 items of contraband back into camp after Storm Arwen.

Producers frisked the Paralympian after she spent four days in quarantine following evacuation due to the weather.

She was caught red-handed alongside Radio DJ Snoochie Shy, soap actors Simon Gregson and Danny Miller and music producer Naughty Boy.

Each of the stars was found to have nabbed items from their temporary accommodation where they had been holed up since leaving Gwrych Castle on Saturday.

Athlete Kadeena, 30, was identified as the unlikely worst offender – sneaking as many as 25 items into her socks, coat, rucksack and pockets.

FRANKIE Bridge defied the pandemic to pocket almost £1m in earnings last year, The Sun can reveal.

The I’m A Celeb star raked in £807,390 through her business Triple P Media.

And that was up 40 per cent on the £577,073 she earned in 2019 according to official records released by Companies House.

Frankie has embarked on a career as a Loose Women presenter, model and author following her time in The Saturdays.

And the wife of ex-England footy star Wayne is already emerging as one of the favourites to win this year.

The I’m A Celebrity disaster is only redeemed by the Naughty bits

This is a comment piece by Ally Ross

FRANKIE didn’t go to Hollywood then.

She went up the A55, turned left on to the North Wales Expressway for Gwrych Castle and sat there, freezing her whatsits off, until Storm Arwen arrived and she had to be evacuated to her Covid bubble.

There she waited and waited and waited while probably contemplating a Saturdays reunion tour and her role in one of the year’s biggest TV disasters.

Series 21 of I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! (The Crystal Maze years). A show I’ve grown old and grumpy waiting for it to be as brilliant as it was back in the Noughties, when they used to fill it with genuine sociopaths like David Van Day, Janice Dickinson, Darren Day, Rhona Cameron, Nigel Benn and John Lydon.

I gave up on this run, however, way back in August, when ITV announced they weren’t returning to Australia.

That should also have been the moment, of course, the network told their accountants to get lost and mothballed the show until they could provide Ant & Dec with the backdrop their performance actually deserves.

THE fiancée of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here's Danny Miller says he was 'rock' of support during her anxiety battle.

Midwife Steph Jones gave birth to the couple's first child, Albert, just five weeks ago and opened up about her mental health struggles.

The 30-year-old gushed that Danny was "the light at the end of my tunnel".

“Danny has talked about his own mental health and how I’ve helped, but he never really takes credit for what he does for other people," Steph told The Mirror.

“He’s been my absolute rock and he’s never admitted how much he’s helped me. I’d hate to think where I’d be without him because I was so shut off, my mum was so worried about me.”

    Dan in the dumps

I'M A Celebrity's Danny Miller revealed he was snubbed by an England footballing legend as a child.

The footy mad Emmerdale actor had a chance meeting with Michael Owen as a youngster and took the moment to ask him for a picture.

But the Liverpool striker wasn't having it and declined, leaving little Danny gutted.

The soap star said Michael hadn't had a good game and was likely down about it – but that didn't do much to soften the blow.

It came as he spoke of his joy at sharing a bed with his footballing hero David Ginola after they were voted camp leaders.

I'M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers are convinced Simon Gregson will spark a harsh punishment after he sneaked salt into camp.

The Coronation Street star, 47, smuggled the contraband into Gwrych Castle to improve his and his fellow celebrities' meals.

Fans of the ITV1 show are now predicting that the camp could be surprised with a cruel twist as a result of his rule-breaking.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "#ImACeleb So they are gonna get in trouble now for smuggling salt in!"

Another added: "The producers knowing they can ruin their lives for a few days now because of some salt and pepper #ImACeleb."

A third even suggested: "Just to stir things up they should let them do the trial then tell them it's void because simon brought in salt, so the punishment is no food."

I'M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'s Naughty Boy stunned campmates and viewers last night as he recalled his huge £44k win on Deal of No Deal.

The 40-year-old star is now famed for being a music producer, and his infamous feud with former One Direction star Zayn Malik.

The tense episode saw Naughty accept the Banker's offer of £44,000, which he spent on recording equipment and building a recording studio in his mum's garden.

He previously said of his stint on the show: "The money gave me two and a half years of not working. It bought me time. To be honest, money can only give you time unless you want to put it in an investment.

"I wanted to invest in myself to become a musician. I wanted to understand how to make music on a computer."

"Thanks for all the votes, support and positive messages for Danny so far!

"It's really appreciated. #teamdanny please continue to get behind Danny as he continues his journey."

    Inside I’m a Celeb’s Louise Minchin’s friendship with Strictly's Dan Walker

THEY'RE taking part in rival reality shows right now – but there's no denying the friendship between Louise Minchin and Dan Walker.

Louise, 53, and Dan, 44, hosted BBC Breakfast together for six years before she quit in September after two decades on the programme – something Dan compared to a break-up.

As Dan took to the Strictly dancefloor for the first time weeks later, he showed just how close the pair are when he dedicated his performance to Louise.

After his debut dance, host Claudia Winkleman said: "You wanted to dedicate that dance to someone very special…"

Dan replied: "Yes, I've got a new breakfast sofa partner but that was actually for Louise Minchin.

"Any Breakfast viewer will know that Louise left the sofa last week, hopefully she's watching – Louise that was for you, we miss you, we love you and we wish you all the best away from the sofa."

But Louise had her own surprise for Dan, appearing on a VT to say: "Hi Dan, I cannot believe that you dedicated your first dance on Strictly to me – thank you so much.

"I really miss you on the BBC Breakfast sofa but I'm so excited because I will watch you every Saturday night on Strictly, I think you're going to be amazing, good luck, go for it and have fun.

    High hopes

I'M A Celebrity star Danny Miller's pal was behind the plane prank that saw a supportive message flown high above Gwrych Castle.

The Sun can exclusively reveal that the banner backing Danny to win was the brainchild of Love Island's Scott Thomas.

It was inspired by a similar stunt carried out by PrettyLittleThing boss Umar Kamani for his pal, and Scott's brother, Ryan Thomas when he was in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

A source said: "Scott loves a stunt and is always game for a laugh. He wanted to to lift Danny's spirits and let him know how well he's doing and how much everyone loves him. It was all good harmless fun."

The show's production crew were thrown into a panic after spotting the huge banner that said "Danny Miller to win".
