Eagle-eyed I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans noticed as Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley entered the castle that his hair seemed completely different in footage supposedly taken from the same journey. As the 65-year-old was driven to the famous Gwrych Castle to join his fellow campmates on the ITV show, his hair bizarrely seemed to grow longer. Viewers were quick to point out the potential filming blunder and took to social media to question how long he’d been in the vehicle.
Twitter user Mikey Carroll posted two snaps of the star, showing him sporting totally different hairstyles.
“#ImACeleb how f***ing long was that car journey?” the caption read.
Responding, Helenj wrote: “There were some odd shots.
“Like how did both of them come out the towers totally bug free and immaculate.
“Hair and make up must be in the lower tower area.”
Just Louise replied: “Bahahahahah oopise #ImACeleb.”
Kelli Barrett argued: “They filmed the way in days before it started… everyone knows that.” (sic)
Several other viewers were also distracted by Richard’s hair.
Liese Nicholls shared: “I worried for Richard’s hair! Hope the wave can hold strong! #ImACeleb.”
“I’ve got a big issue with Richards hair #ImACeleb,” Jess Winstanley penned.
PKaur commented: “Richard Madeley turning up in his top gun style bomber jacket with newly highlighted hair is such a Madeley thing to do.
“This is going to be TV gold! #imaceleb #ImACelebrity.” (sic)
Richard is currently known for hosting Good Morning Britain, which he has stepped in to do ever since Pier’s Morgan’s exit earlier this year.
The journalist used to present This Morning alongside wife Judy Finnigan, and the duo starred in chatshow Richard and Judy, which ran from 2001 to 2008.
Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! saw Richard trying to convince musician Naughty Boy and choreographer Arlene Phillips not to leave the show after the pair became upset with the opposing team.
“Would you not at least sleep on it?” the presenter advised them.
He continued: “I just always think that bug decisions are not best rushed.”
It was revealed at the end of Tuesday’s episode that Madeley would be facing Wednesday’s trial, Castle Kitchen Nightmares.
Representing the now-combined group, viewers will have to tune in to see how many meals the broadcaster secured for his campmates.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV.
