Model-turned-TV-host Chrissy Teigen is everyone’s favorite millennial mom. Unlike many celebrity parents, who keep their children’s faces out-of-frame when sharing photos or even go so far as to never reveal their name(s), Teigen’s adorable tots are a part of her brand — and the internet can’t get enough of them and her. Here’s what she said recently about the differences between them.
Who is Chrissy Teigen?
OK, if you don’t know the answer to this, you’re probably not on social media. Teigen is basically the queen of Twitter and Instagram. She uses the former to interact with fans and share her thoughts on everything from the latest ridiculous statement from the president or what she’s thinking of having for dinner. Teigen also tells incredible stories and likes to poke fun at her husband, musician John Legend.
But Instagram is where she gives her audience a true look inside her personal life. Teigen loves to post stories featuring her two kids, Luna and Miles. Other frequent players are Legend, her pets, and her mother, Pepper. When she’s not on social media, Teigen is co-hosting Lip Sync Battle or her new comedy competition reality show, Bring the Funny.
She says her two children are very different

Every parent knows that, despite being brought up in the same home, every child is different from their sibling(s). Teigen opened up about the personalities of her kids, Luna (3) and Miles (1) when speaking with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show recently. After Jimmy said that last time he met Luna she was “so funny and so cute,” Chrissy added, “she gave you attitude.”
“She’s at this age where she talks so much and everything’s a debate,” said Teigen, adding that Miles mostly just says “Yeah” to everything. She also said that while Luna is more like her, Miles is more like Legend. “Miles is just this happy-go-lucky [kid] and [Luna] is just…” Fallon interrupted her: “Attitude.” “Yes!” said Teigen, “She’s me.”
Teigen has been open about her struggles with infertility and post-partum depression
With social media, we’ve been brought into an age where the celebrities are able to share what they’re really like, without the need to put out a certain image or promote a particular project. Teigen has taken full advantage of that, discussing two very difficult subjects: Infertility and post-partum depression.
Teigen has responded to “concerned” people on Twitter defending her decision to do IVF, how she and Legend chose the sex of their children, and even whether or not she was having twins with her first pregnancy. She also addressed how she has kept some of the weight on after having Miles, saying that her PPD is why she was so thin following Luna’s birth.
Of course, it’s no one’s business but her own, but Teigen’s honesty about — well, almost everything — is very refreshing. She tells it like it is (for her), and that’s why her fans love her so much. We say keep on doing what you’re doing! And we can’t wait to see Luna turn out just like you.
