Emmerdale stars Matthew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins have appeared to dismiss recent "feud" claims by sharing a friendly snap.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday night, Matthew's wife, Charley Webb, posted a sweet snap of her husband, 41, and Isabel, 27, joking around as she captioned it with: "The most annoying humans."
It comes after it was claimed over the weekend that Matthew and Isabel, who play David Metcalfe and Victoria Sugden, were allegedly caught in a "very heated" argument while filming for Super Soap Week.
The two soaps stars, as well as Matthew's wife Charley, 33, appeared to dismiss the reports as they posted friendly snaps to Instagram.
Reposting Charley's image to her own account, Isabel wrote: "We love you too hun @miss_charleywebb."
While Matthew added it to his own Instagram Story, writing: "BFFS!"
Isabel also posted a picture of Matthew on the floor with his pet dog while Charley shared a sweet selfie with the actress, captioned: "My little cute pea" followed by a heart.
The social media activity comes after Matthew and Isabel were reportedly caught in a "very heated" argument while filming for Super Soap Week.
The duo are claimed to have argued while filming with their soap co-star Aaron Anthony, who plays Ellis Chapman.
The argument is said to have erupted as the stars filmed the dramatic waterfall scenes at Tees Barrage water park in Stockton-on-Tees, The Sun has claimed.
A source alleged: "It left a lot of those present at the filming feeling uncomfortable. It was a very heated situation. Tempers were running very high. It was tense and bosses got to hear about what had gone on very quickly."
Fans of the ITV soap have been questioning where Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe, and Isabel, who plays Victoria Sugden, have been following the big waterfall stunt. Matthew and Isabel's characters haven't appeared on screen since Thursday 28 October.
It has been claimed Matthew and Isabel took a break from filming at the waterpark and the pair did not film scenes while inquiries were made.
The matter is now said to have been solved and the soap stars were not suspended nor disciplined. Matthew and Isabel reportedly returned to set last week.
An insider added to the publication: "The cast had travelled to film what they were calling the ‘Summer Stunt’ — dramatic waterfall scenes that aired on October 19.
"While they were on set a comment was made which unintentionally caused offence, and an argument broke out among some of the cast members. This was a massive deal for all of them and obviously everyone was under pressure to make scenes work.
"Emmerdale take these kind of allegations very seriously, and Matthew and Isabel did not film scenes while inquiries were made. It was not a decision they took lightly, as it had huge consequences for the team as they are massive characters. But the bosses felt it was a necessary step to take.
"They investigated the matter fully and are now satisfied that no further action is necessary. The actors are really professional."
