Emmerdale Paige Sandhu has been supported by her former co-stars after sharing huge career news.
The actress, who is best known for playing serial killer Meena Jutla on the ITV soap, is set to star in historical feature film Lioness.
The 25-year-old will portray Princess Sophia Duleep Singh, the Goddaughter of Queen Victoria, who was a key figure in the suffragette movement in the UK.

Taking to Instagram, Paige branded the upcoming role a "dream come true" as she shared the exciting news with her 69,000 followers.
I am so incredibly humbled and honoured to be announcing #Lioness," she wrote.
"To say this part, this story, this cast & crew is a dream come true would be doing it a disservice – I am so blown away by this incredible story and cannot wait for the world to learn about Princess Sophia Duleep Singh."
Revealing more about her character, Paige added: "Youngest daughter of the deposed Maharajah Duleep Singh and goddaughter to Queen Victoria, her life, the people she helped and her work as a suffragette is truly amazing."
The former soap star went on to say: "And I am SO delighted to be working with the amazing @aditiraohydari and @kajrbabbar. Oh go on, I am going to say it! It is a dream come true!"
She signed off the lengthy post with a quote from Emmeline Pankhurst, a political activist who organised the UK suffragette movement and helped give women the right to vote.
Paige's former co-stars couldn't wait to share their support in the comments as Manpreet Sharma star Rebecca Sarker wrote: "Yes, sis."
Ash Palmisciano, who portrays Matty Barton, gushed: "amazingggggg. congratulations lovely can’t wait to see it! you will be fantastic and what a world away from meena hey ha well done mate xx."
Jamie Tate star Alexander Lincoln added a row of clapping emojis as Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa Woodfield, penned: "Fantastic news."
Meanwhile, Andrea Tate actress Anna Nightingale exclaimed: "Go on babe!!!!" followed by six flame emojis.
