Emmerdale spoiler sees Dawns wedding bliss ruined by an unexpected arrival in the village

Next week in Emmerdale, Dawn Taylor (played by Olivia Bromley) is trying her best to get in the bridal spirit, but her efforts are trampled when an unexpected visitor shows up in the village.

Alex is back and he begs Dawn to let him explain his actions – but what's he hoping to achieve from it all?

Prior to this, Dawn asks Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) to be her maid of honour, but the bride-to-be is still without a venue for her big day.

Although Kim Tate (Claire King) seems unenthusiastic when Dawn reveals her wedding day, some wise words from Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) encourage her to pull her finger out and she offers her step-daughter-to-be Home Farm.

Meanwhile, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) gets the shock of her life when a mystery man turns up with a letter from rapist ex Pierce Harris.

Chilled to the bone, she confides in Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) , who tells her to bin it, but Rhona ignores her advice and reads what’s inside. She finds out Pierce is dying and wants her to help him find his son, Marcus (Darcy Grey).

Against her better judgement, Rhona decides to keep Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) in the dark and ropes in Ryan to help her find Marcus.

However, will she be able to go through with her plan when Ryan hands her Marcus’s phone number? And how far will Vanessa go to protect her friend?

Meanwhile, the whole village waits with bated breath to find out who the new owners of The Woolpack will be.

Kim is interested in buying the boozer which devastates Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

Everyone heads to the auction, but Chas and Marlon are left in the dark when an online buyer snatches the pub from Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) at the last minute.

Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) fails to finds out who it is, but the auctioneer tells her the new owner would like to meet Chas and Marlon in person.
