Emmerdale viewers have become suspicious of Chloe (played by Jessie Elland) ever since she arrived in the Dales. However, things could soon take a turn when Charity (Emma Atkins) and Mack (Lawrence Robb) attempt to steal from her house. However, it is clear to see Chloe is hiding something. Could she end up holding Charity and Mack hostage when they find out about her dark past in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap?
In scenes that aired on Friday night, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) convinced Charity to go with her to see Chloe after she continued to ignore her phone calls and text messages.
Despite Noah Tate (Jack Downham) trying to convince them not to go, the duo went anyway.
Little did they know that Noah, who had been texting Chloe for weeks, alerted her before the duo arrived at her house.
“Don’t you think it’s a bit weird?” Noah said to Sarah.
Charity chipped in: “Car is running. Who is weird, and why?”
“Blackmailing me so you could see Chloe yourself was weird, but that didn’t stop you,” Sarah hit back.
Turning to Charity, Noah pleaded: “Tell her, tell her it’s weird. She’s only going because she can smell money.”
When Sarah and Charity arrived at Chloe’s, she was already outside her house waiting.
In a bid to buy them some time, Charity told Chloe that she had swallowed a fly and needed a glass of water.
“What are you doing?” Sarah asked her grandmother.
“I am buying us some time,” Charity replied. “Whatever you do, get me in that house, okay?”
Later, Chloe told the pair that Noah had warned her against Sarah and Charity.
“He said I shouldn’t trust any of you,” she explained.
Sarah and Charity left Chloe’s promptly to confront Noah about what had been going on.
Mack was also nearby as he asked the youngster: “Tell me what has been going on so I can help.”
“I told Chloe they were going to see her,” Noah said. “We are a thing.”
“Why did you warn her off?” Sarah raged as Mack replied: “Apparently, they are a thing.”
“They are not,” Charity chipped in.
As Sarah and Noah left the pub, Charity and Mack set about their plan to break into Chloe’s house.
“There is only one good thing that has come out of today,” Charity admitted.
“I now know they are going to be out all day tomorrow.”
“Nice big gaff was it?” Mack asked as she replied: “Massive. I hope your robber’s mask is clean.”
Mack and Charity plan to rob Chloe’s house, but will they end up finding out about Chloe’s true identity?
And, what is worse, what will Chloe do if she catches them in the act?
Desperate to keep her history a secret, Chloe may well hold the pair hostage, desperate for them not to return to the village and reveal what they’d found out.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
