Emmerdale: Gus finds Mary unconscious
Emmerdale’s Mary Goskirk (played by Louise Jameson) was left heartbroken after she confronted her lover Faye (Jane Gurnet) during Tuesday’s instalment.
Before attacking Mary, Faye told the vet’s mum that she made up the charity and that she was scamming her for money.
After knocking Mary to the ground, leaving her unconscious, Faye stole the rest of her money before swiftly leaving.
However, Rhona’s (Zoe Henry) ex Gus (Alan McKenna) arrived shortly after and called 999.
Although, fans have grown suspicious of both newcomers, and one eagle-eyed viewer suggested Faye and Gus are related.
In emotional scenes, Mary broke down in tears as she confronted her love interest.
“Don’t you question my faculties… gaslighting me, making it sound like I’m being ridiculous,” Mary fumed.
“You’ve been about money for weeks, money for this, money for that… it’s funny but as soon as somebody else says it, it becomes so obvious.
“You saw my bank account yesterday, didn’t you? Your eyes must have lit up.”

“Yeah, well, be thankful. You only lost this much,” Faye hit back holding up Mary’s money.
“You seriously thought that you and me were a thing. Oh, I’m good.”
“Who are you?” Mary shouted. “And when were you going to offload me exactly? At the airport? On the aeroplane? Were you going to kick me out the door at 30,000 feet?”
She added: “Give that money back or I’ll call the police.”
Following the episode, fans took to Twitter in droves to share their thoughts on the storyline.
Many seem to think Faye and Gus already know each as the pair showed up in the village at a similar time.

While @MickJohnPNEFC theorised: “Hang on is f***ing Faye Gus’s wife………” (sic)
@sofaneilas went on to predict: “Faye still doesn’t have a surname though – I’d love it if she was just like: Oh and by the way! I’m a SECRET DINGLE DANGLE SHUSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH as she ran off with Faye’s handbag of pennies #emmerdale.” (sic)
