EastEnders star Melissa Suffield is continuing her efforts to promote body positivity in post-pregnancy pictures.

Melissa, who played Lucy Beale from 2004-2010 in the BBC One soap, now runs her own parenting blog.

The actress and mum posted pictures in red underwear, encouraging her follows to make ‘best f***ing friends with that person in the mirror’.

‘They’re not your enemy’, her caption continued.

‘In fact, they could be your biggest champion if you’d let them. They are desperate for that love you show to others, and they’re gagging for you to tell them how much you respect them, cherish them. They want to show you the beauty in yourself, and so much more.

‘So don’t let a b***h down! Go tell ‘em!’

‘One more time for people at the back!’, one of Melissa’s followers replied.

It’s not the first time Melissa has been promoting self-love on her Instagram.

A few months ago, she shared a new photo with her 25k followers in a nude lingerie set, writing:

‘Actually shaved my legs higher than the ankle to take this photo, so never let it be said that I don’t make an effort.

‘Also remind me to find someone 8ft tall to just hang around with me and take photos because I’m digging this new angle for me. Feeling very Botticelli painting gal being fed grapes by a flying baby sort of realness, and honestly, who doesn’t want to feel that sort of power? Power poses ftw.’

She went on to joke: ‘Also imagine if this was the standard power pose for the Tory party instead of that weird wide apart legs thing they love to do.

‘Imagine they all just got on the floor at party conferences.

‘Probably still look less strange than the wide apart legs. Happy Saturday!’

Melissa gave birth to son River last March and often documents his life on her blog ‘The Confident Mama’.
