EastEnders news – Star utterly heartbroken as 'family member' killed by car; plus Emmerdale & Coronation Street spoilers | The Sun

EASTENDERS actor, James Farrar, opened up about some devastating news he received recently.

The actor, who plays Zack Hudson in EastEnders, revealed that he sadly lost his pet cat Duchess over the weekend.

He said Duchess died after being hit by a car, and he was "heart broken" over the news.

Taking to social media to break the news, James wrote a touching tribute to his beloved cat: "We rescued Duchess from Wales 7 years ago. She has brought @alirofffarrar and the rest of us so much joy.

"She’d lay on Ali’s belly through the pregnancy – she loved our Summer so much, and baby Summer loved her.

"To all you animal lovers out there – squeeze your pets closer tonight.

"Duch was knocked down and killed over the weekend. Neither of us had ever been heartbroken… yet here we are."

He signed off with: "You were part of our family. Sleep sound and see you in heaven sweetheart."

    He will be teaming up with the Undertaker, Norma Crow, to get rid of Sienna Blake on behalf of Warren Fox after she poisoned him.

    Tony will play the nefarious Embalmer, to do the Undertakers dirty work and kill Sienna.

    EastEnders’ Michelle Collins marries toyboy fiancé in beautiful London ceremony

    The actress, 60, who is best known for playing Cindy Beale on the BBC soap, married her 38 year-old fiancé in a stunning white jumpsuit.

    The happy couple were married in London yesterday – in front of an audience of celebrity friends, including Adam Woodyatt.

    The soap star stunned onlookers as she stepped out in an all-white jumpsuit, complete with a long white train.

    EastEnders: Lewis prepared to take the rap for raping Ben?

    Hell hath no fury like Phil Mitchell, and he is in full hulk mode, after discovering what Lewis did to his son.

    Before Sam Mitchell leaves the Square for good, Zack calls to let her know that he has found rapist Lewis Butler.

    She steals the gun from the safe and she makes her way to Lewis' whereabouts with Zack.

    In later scenes, fans will see Sam telling her angry brother she has Lewis tied up in the boot of her car, and a gun at the ready.

    But is Phil really prepared to risk jail once again if he does shoot Lewis dead in cold blood? Or will he take Lewis straight to the police?

    Coronation Street: Audrey's suicide story 'what am I good for?'

    Viewers will have seen Audrey attempt to take her own life, when she admits to taking "too many pills" to her GP.

    The story tackles loneliness in older people, and how Audrey copes with coming to terms with being in the later stages of life.

    She will tell her friends about the attempt she made, leaving Roy, Rita, Claudia and Ken shocked.

    Audrey made the attempt just under a month ago but was spotted by her neighbour who rang an ambulance just in time.

    The character tells her friends: "Seizing the day. Spend the afternoons on the sauvignon blanc, wondering exactly what I'm good for."

    Hollyoaks casts Emmerdale legend in new role

    Soap legend Tony Mooney has been cast as the new villain in Hollyoaks.

    Best known for his time on Scott and Bailey, Mooney is now set to join the hit soap as a character named Les the Embalmer.

    The character will appear on our screens this week, after being introduced as a friend of local villain Norman Crow, who is played by Glynis Barber.

    Mooney appeared on Emmerdale between 2003 and 2006.

    Hollyoaks casts Emmerdale legend in new role

    Best known for his time on Scott and Bailey, Mooney is now set to join the hit soap as a character named Les the Embalmer.

    Corrie: Ryan’s criminal future sealed in court hearing

    A verdict has been reached after Ryan Connor admitted to being guilty over attempting to rob the Bistro.

    He was arrested for theft after staging a fake robbery, and trying to organise an insurance scam with Debbie.

    In a statement, he told of how he was coerced by Ray Crosby.

    The judge took some sympathy, and gave Ryan community service.

    But now without a home, job and his friends turning their backs on him, what will Ryan do?

      Emmerdale: Marlon's wedding might 'become his funeral'

      During a night out with the lads, Marlon Dingle had a nasty fall, so Paddy rushed him to hospital in last nights episode.

      Paddy told Marlon he had to go for hospital for a scan, in case he had suffered another stroke.

      Marlon was very reluctant to go, as he is determined to make it down the aisle to marry Rhona, the very next day.

      They go to the hospital in secret, where Marlon is kept overnight, without telling Rhona.

      His friend tells him he absolutely must stay in hospital, or his wedding "might become his funeral," if he isn't careful.

      Will Marlon make it to the church in time?

      All will be revealed tomorrow night!

      Ex EastEnders Star reveals shock cancer diagnosis after the death of Olivia Newton-John

      Samantha Womack shared a touching tribute to the Grease legend just hours after her passing.

      The former EastEnders actress, who played Ronnie Mitchell, played the leading role of Sandy in the West End performance of Grease, in 1993.

      She revealed that she had a "magical" visit from Olivia Newton-John and her daughter, Chloe, who came to watch her performance on stage.

      Samantha praised Olivia, who was given a Damehood by the Queen, for her efforts in raising awareness of breast cancer, which ultimately took her life just days ago.

      Now, Samantha has revealed that she is battling the disease, and has been left feeling "deeply moved."

      Maisie Smith stuns in new Tik Tok video

      The EastEnders actress posted a video of herself dancing in her bikini as she defiantly showed off her “thunder thighs”.

      Singing along to Victoria’s Secret by Jax, the soap and Strictly icon made a powerful statement about body positivity.

      Maisie, 21, has previously opened up about how she’s always “hated her legs” and has “experienced a lot of self hatred”.

      Now, Maisie has hit out against nasty trolls with the defiant video, showing a variety of snaps of her with her legs out.

      Standing by a sun-soaked pool on holiday, the actress could be seen lip-synching to lyrics about “thunder thighs” as she kicked the water.

      EastEnders SHOCKER: Suki in a DEADLY struggle with the violent Ranveer (2/2)

      Suki Panesar has found herself in a very sticky situation as she was left struggling to fend for herself against pervert Ranveer Gutlai.

      When Ranveer’s son, Ravi, walks into a horrific scene as his dad lays deadly still on the floor, Suki explains he attacked her and she hit him over the head in self defence.

      Ravi tells Suki to flee the scene, as he works out what to do next…

      He grabs cleaning gear, only for Ranveer to regain consciousness, he wasn't dead at all, and he is fuming.

      Ranveer viciously tells Ravi he "never was his son" so Ravi bashes him over the head with the clock once again, this time, killing him dead!

      However, refuses to tell Suki what actually happened, and leaves her believing she had murdered Ranveer…

      Will this lead to a shock arrest for Suki?

      When he discovered she was covertly recording him admitting to blackmail, he brutally attacks her, but she manages to smash him over the head with a clock.

      Suki was sure she had killed him, just as Ravi, Ranveer's son walks in to the horrific scene as his dad lays deadly still on the floor…

      Katie McGlynn, former Corrie actress who played Sinead Tinker, posted a selfie and complained about her 'big' problem.

      Pearl Anderson will be absolutely gobsmacked when her own granddaughter betrays her and outs her to the police.

      The police accuse Pearl of hiding a 'fugitive' (DeMarcus) after he was accused of murdering policeman Saul Reeves.

      After Grace Black discovers DeMarcus and aims a gun at him, ready to fire, but luckily his dad, Felix, arrives just in time to stop her.

      Eventually the police show up and take DeMarcus away, thanks to Zoe, and they arrest Pearl too for keeping him in hiding.

      Will Pearl end up banged up in jail with DeMarcus?

      And can they ever forgive Zoe for the ultimate betrayal?

      The gale force storm is set to whip up the folks of Emmerdale.

      A tragic death could even ensue as a result of the deadly forces of nature.

      It has even been revealed that no one in the village is safe from what is about to be unleased, the Metro reported.

      Boss Kate Brooks told the publication: "Some of our best-beloved villagers will be in peril and it's safe to say that literally the village won't be the same after this.

      "So that is out big set-piece stunt."

      Stuart Highway has bad an excruciating time battling cancer and struggling to bond with his new baby with wife, Rainie.

      When he can't take being a father anymore and signs over the parental rights to Rainie, she is absolutely devastated.

      Rainie had tried her best to encourage Stuart to bond with baby Ronald, but he refuses.

      After he thankfully receives the all clear from cancer, he tells Rainie he has signed his parental rights over to her for Ronald.

      Furious Rainie tells him she never wants to see him again, and starts gathering her belongings from their flat.

      Will she really leave Stuart behind?

      Corrie star Katie McGlynn, 29, has shared her struggle with having “big boobs” and reached out for help.

      Corrie fans are sure they’ve worked out HUGE Stu Carpenter twist 

      The former homeless man -played by actor Bill Fellows – recently devastated boss Yasmeen after revealing his killer past.

      This came after Stu’s ex-wife accused him of killing a woman called Charlie Walter after they had an affair.

      But Corrie fans are sure they know what is really going on.

      Taking to Twitter, one viewer suggested: “Our working #Corrie theory is the Stu’s daughter killed that girl and he took the blame for it to protect her.”

      Another agreed: “I think Stu believed his daughter killed that girl & confessed to protect her. If that is true does he still believe it?”

      EastEnders fans all say the same thing after iconic character is recast

      Amy Mitchell appeared looking completely different on Tuesday episode of the hit soap.

      The daughter of the late Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning was totally transformed as she made a shock appearance on EastEnders.

      Actress Abbie Burke has played the character for the last eight years.

      She took over from Amelie Conway in March 2014 but her last appearance on the soap was in June.

      She has now been recast, with Ellie Dadd, of Silent Witness fame, taking on the role.

      Fans were all saying the same thing when this shocking transformation was revealed.

      One wrote: “A new Amy Mitchell recast!”

      A second said: “Amy Mitchell Branning has a new head.”

      Another added: “AMY????? AMY MITCHELL????? THATS NOT AMY AT ALL.”
