Dancing on Ice star Myleene Klass was preparing to make her debut on the ice this weekend but is now going through "the pain barrier" after injuring both of her knees.
The 42-year-old, now thought to be in agony from her injury, is undergoing physio sessions in hope that she'll be back on form for Sunday's live show.
In a previous Instagram post, Myleene had confirmed that she wasn't taking any chances and was now wearing knee supports throughout the day, even when not skating.
The TV presenter who already had a "dodgy knee", has torn her meniscus- which is the damage to the cartilage in her knee.
Myleene's injury will only ease up with rest, however with a tight show deadline looming she doesn't appear to be slowing herself down any time soon – even taking to the ice only yesterday.
Instead, she is relying on the extra support after training sessions to aid with her recovery.
In spite of her suffering, according to reports there is no way Myleene will let anything get in the way of her competing with pro-partner Lukasz Rozycki.
The ITV insider explained: "Myleene has picked up a knee injury during training and she is having physio sessions to try to help with both her knees ahead of her first dance on screen with Lukasz on Sunday.
"It is very early on to be in pain and having knee problems but Myleene is determined to carry on and won’t let it ruin her experience.
"She will be going through the pain barrier and the show means a lot to her and her children so this may not stop her but it certainly won’t help her chances of winning."
The mum-of-three isn't the only star to have sustained an injury ahead of the live show, with Denise Van Outen dislocating her shoulder blade last week.
Rebekah Vardy and partner Andy Buchanan also had a blood-bath situation after football ace Jamie Vardy's wife sliced his face with her bladed boot.
Speaking to The Sun, Rebekah explained: "That was the most horrific experience.
"I actually thought he was messing around to begin with as he does like a bit of a joke and to rib me quite a bit.
"We were doing the move and the last thing he said to me was don't kick me in the face."
After Andy had dished out that warning, the former model was worried he'd "jinx" them and it turns out her fears were right.
Rebekah hadn't even realised that she'd clipped her partner's face until he nearly dropped her and was then holding his face.
She added: "I said 'stop messing about' and laughed, then he removed his hand from his face and there was blood everywhere."
