Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd share home renovation update after having 53 windows fitted

Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd proudly gave fans an update on their home renovations after having 53 windows fitted.

On Wednesday night's instalment of Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, the pair, who have openly discussed the various issues they have had with renovations, were delighted upon arriving at the property.

"When we first pulled up to the house, the first things I could see were the windows," 31 year old Billie gushed.

Greg shared her delight as he told the cameras: "Windows were a massive expense, so it's nice to see something you've spent so much money on, and see them in."

Billie and Greg were joined by their two children Nelly, seven, and Arthur, four, as they stood outside the home to admire it.

"Wow, it's actually looking like a house!" Billie proclaimed.

The family headed indoors with their children noting how much space there was for them to play.

The renovations had undoubtedly come a long way over the last few weeks

In an episode earlier this month, Billie confided in her close friend Ferne McCann about another major "hiccup" with their ambitious home plans.

Billie said: "Well, we've made the first hiccup with the house. All the beams have bent so they've ripped back all the ceiling."

The mum-of-two continued: "Honestly, this house should have been squashed from the beginning. It should have been."

This comes after Billie and Greg exclusively opened up to OK! about how their "stressful" house move had understandably led to tension at home.

When asked if they had had any disagreements while filming the series, Billie confessed: "It's a lot of stress. Doing the house renovation is literally a full-time job in itself."

"It's another workload, and it does cause a lot of tension and pressure. The house renovation caused a few rifts between us."

Greg agreed with his wife, adding: "Decisions have to be made, and if you're not making them, there's going to be a backlog with the builder – and this has a knock-on effect. Hence, it causes a row."

But the couple went on to say that they'd made big process with their home and were hoping to move in early next year all being well.

The reality star said: "It's really coming together now. We're probably not going to be in there until February, maybe March, next year."

Billie added: "We went there recently, and for the first time, I felt like we were looking at a home.

"I had that excited feeling. It's been a really long process, but it will be worth it in the end."
