Another Love Island star branded a ‘walking red flag’ by fans as new arrivals tear the villa apart | The Sun

LOVE Island fans have spotted another contestant that 'gives them red flags' as two new bombshells bring chaos to the villa.

Viewers watching rugby player, Jacques O'Neill, became concerned with some behaviours they labelled as 'worrying'.

Jacques arrived to the villa on Sunday and shocked everyone when it was revealed he was the ex of fellow Islander, Gemma Owen.

The lad has already a confrontation with bombshell Jay Younger and has been giving plenty of attention to ex Gemma, despite being coupled up with Paige.

Some fans were even concerned with some of his allegedly 'misogynistic' behaviours and thought he should have not followed his ex into the villa.

"Jacques is a walking red flag. preoccupied with seeing how the girls look ‘dressed up.’ wolf whistling ekin su. ‘where’s the girls i want some brekkie.’ i smell misogyny babes x," wrote one fan on Twitter.

A second wrote: "Jacques has completely ruined Gemma’s experience of finding love – why did he follow her in ?"

And a third added: "Jaqs is giving me so many red flags!!! He seems like the type of guy to lead his ex on just to say he can get back with his ex’s whenever he wants."

But plenty of people were keen on Jacques and wanted more time to make up their minds.

"Jacques – Needs more time to be judged," wrote one fan.

It comes after fans demanded producers take action against one of his love rivals, Luca Bish, after spotting a series of red flags.

Fans cited show bosses' 'duty of care' to contestants after Luca was seen slamming Gemma into his body and then later showing signs of 'controlling behaviour'.

NO AVERAGE JOE

It all started when Luca was giving Gemma, 19, a massage as she sat on a stool in front of him.

But viewers found it very uncomfortable because the fishmonger repeatedly pulled Gemma back into his chest with a lot of force, even though she asked him to stop.

Just seconds after that Gemma accidentally referred to Luca as her ex 'Jacques' which led to them having a row where fans spotted a series of 'red flags' for controlling behaviour in his interactions with her.

Gemma tried to tell Luca that she does not have feelings for Jacques as she apologised for calling him his name.

But Luca was not convinced and seemed to shift the goal posts on Gemma during the discussion.

"It makes it weirder for me that two minutes later you were in there with your ex," he said.

She hit back: "Don't roll your eyes at me and stop being a p***k.

"I'll come to you and say I'm in the wrong, it was a mistake, I've no feelings for him and I have no interest in getting back with him – you want to carry on, I'm not interested in having an argument with you.

"It was a genuine mistake, I'm sorry, I can appreciate you feeling angry. That's all I have to say."

But then he accused her of "getting worked up" and told her "don't be silly."

"Stop being silly and come sit down. Sit down," he demanded.

They eventually made up, but fans watching at home noticed some red flags and called on producers to step in.

"Luca is blowing the name situation way out of proportion. He was annoying her and she said the wrong name, it was hardly in the throes of passion. His jealousy is a big [red flag] not to mention him making her sit down," wrote one fan on Twitter.

But some fans defended Luca.

Another added: "Luca may be controlling and has major red flags, yes. But calling him your ex's name and then going off with said ex to laugh about it is a big f***ing NO! They're both in the wrong and Luca has the right to feel some f***ing way about it even though he overreacted."

Day eight in the villa saw bombshells Jay Younger and Remi Lambert, causing friction early in the villa after dating their choice of female islanders.

The pair each picked a trio of women who cooked and then shared a dish with them as part of a three-course lunch – while the rest of the boys looked on from the balcony fuming.

It was bad news for Davide though as Ekin-Su was picked by BOTH of them and perhaps not surprisingly – she rose to the challenge.

Jay and Ekin-Su got very close during the main course, sharing a piece of spaghetti Lady And The Tramp style, with Davide Sanclimenti looking upset from the balcony with his hands on his head.

And then during dessert, Ekin-Su fed Remi chocolate covered strawberries as Davide looked on.
