What/If's Blake Jenner Breaks Down His Sexiest Scenes From the Netflix Thriller, Shares Hopes for Season 2

By the end of What/If‘s 10-episode first season, all of the characters have revealed at least one monumental secret about themselves. And some characters, like Blake Jenner‘s oft-unclothed Sean Donovan, have revealed a whole lot more.

“There’s a lot of ass acting on this show,” Jenner admits, referring to the fact that we get acquainted with Sean’s backside before we even really see his face. “I was like, ‘Guys, I know it doesn’t say it in the script, but I really feel like showing my ass here makes sense for my character.’ No, this is actually the first time I’ve done something like that. It was a nice departure, and it allowed me to be more vulnerable, more in the moment. It also gave me an excuse to use the stair master a lot.”

Of course, Sean’s most memorable clothing-optional moment comes during one of his wife’s particularly paranoid day dreams about a steamy encounter between Sean and Renee Zellweger’s character Anne Montgomery.

“I was such a huge fan of hers growing up, so it took me a minute to come to terms with the fact that I got to work alongside this amazing Oscar-winning actress,” Jenner says. “And then it was just like, ‘You ready? Pucker up!’ … No, she’s honestly so down to earth and cool. She inspires you to be a kinder human, always. And I love the way she dives into her role, it’s really inspiring. There have been a few times in my career that I’ve gotten to work with someone whose movies I grew up on, but this was the most surreal.”

Viewers are also treated to plenty of steamy marital moments between Sean and Lisa (played by Jane Levy). “Getting married on my first day of work was pretty wild,” Jenner admits. “Jane and I barely knew each other at point, so I just showed up and said my vows in front of a bunch of strangers. … Jane and I had dinner one night and we were like, ‘With this show, you have to love this couple, or else it won’t work.’ So doing that first was actually very enlightening, and it helped shape our bond.”

He also feels like series creator Mike Kelley ended the first season “on a very real note. It wasn’t tied with a bow. It leaves it up to the audience to think about what could be next.” Kelley recently told TVLine that his goal is to get the entire cast back in different roles for a second season of the anthology series, a prospect that excites Jenner to no end.

“If it works out for everyone, timing-wise, I’d love to know what else is cooking in Mike’s brain,” he says. “Knowing him, I think he’d do us all a solid and have us play completely different characters, which I’d be excited for. I want to be someone really f–d up and dark, even more so than Sean. … I’ve been boxing for years, so I’d like to play a down-and-out boxer. Or maybe a drummer. Like, a musician or a drug addict.”

What are your thoughts on What/If’s first season? Any fun ideas for Season 2? Whatever’s on your mind, drop it in a comment below.

What Meghan Markle’s secret hand gesture says about her feelings for Harry

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may still be in the first flushes of parenthood, but there was no sign of stress or strain when they turned up last night to the Yankees vs Red Sox baseball game in London.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the London Stadium, where they met members of both teams and were gifted a host of baseball-themed presents for baby Archie – including a tiny bat and an adorable Yankees babygro with the newborn's name printed on the back.

It's one of the first appearances for Meghan since she gave birth on May 6, and she wasn't expected to join her husband at the game.

But she was seen laughing and joking with the athletes, even hugging one who claimed he was related to Meghan several generations back.

It was a marked change for the married couple, who were seen looking a little tense at Trooping the Colour earlier this month.

Here, body language expert Judi James reveals the secret signals Harry and Meghan were giving away last night…

"Performing one of the biggest PDAs in front of some 60,000 fans (plus the world’s press) at the London Stadium, Harry and Meghan clearly decided to announce their ongoing love for one another in the most emphatic way.

"These poses show some serious and prolonged bouts of eye-gazing, with Meghan turning her head to eye-gaze her husband with the kind of 'look of love' smile that you normally only see performed this much in the early days of a relationship when no-one else around you seems to exist.

"Meghan's flat shoes place her at an unusual angle here which has impacted on their poses, meaning she's looking up at Harry more than usual and that rather sweet look reflects in her hand clasp in front of her waist that has a look of shyness about it.

"Meghan is performing the very flattering look of love all through these poses, including when the couple are sitting down in their seats, and it's interesting that Harry looks to be on top form too, using a crinkle-eyed smile when he gazes back at his wife or splaying his chest and torso like a proud, protective alpha as he walks out on pitch holding her hand.

"After all the speculation over those shots on the balcony at the Trooping the Colour, it looks here as though the couple want to re-affirm the fact here that they are as very much in love as they were when they first appeared together at the Invictus Games in Toronto."

Teenage girl in tears at school prom after bully tips jug of juice over her

A teenage girl was left in tears at her school prom after she was targeted by cruel bullies .

Emilee Perry, 16, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, was left sodden and in floods of tears after a full jug of juice was tipped over her last night.

The teenager who suffers from anxiety, had been begged by her parents to go to the prom in the first place but her mum, Tracy, had to pick her up just two hours after she arrived.

Furious Tracy wrote on Facebook : "This is my beautiful daughter, who suffers with anxiety whom we had to beg to go to the prom this evening.

"Two hours later I collect her from the prom like this, heartbroken and in a state.

"This 'person' thought it a good idea to pour a full jug of juice over her and soak her from head to toe.

"I hope one day someone humiliates and devastates her like she has done to my daughter!!!!"

The teen has been inundated with messages of support after Tracy posted pictures of Emilee.

One woman replied: "She is beautiful and I'm so deeply sorry this happened to her. I was bullied.

"I hope the girl or girls that did this to her get punished or their parents are at least called. This is awful."

Another posted: "That’s awful … she is absolutely stunning, girls can be so cruel."

And another message of support read: "She is a gorgeous girl and the person who did this is probably jealous of her."

Mum Tracy told the Daily Record : "It's unbelievable what has happened, she has had words of support from all over the globe."

The crushed teen has also now taken to social media to thank everyone for the overwhelming messages of support.

"Wow, I just want to take the time out to thank each and every person that has gone out of the way to absolutely shower me with love and support," she said.

"It is greatly appreciated and I will most certainly be eternally grateful for the extremely unexpected outcome of this situation! I've had so much support.

"The way that people have responded has absolutely overwhelmed me and has proven to me that I can get through everything and it hope that this makes me a stronger person."

Emilee said she had decided to  keep the name of the girl responsible anonymous to avoid "spreading more hate".

Fred Savage’s ‘What Just Happened’ Is One Of The Weirdest Shows On TV

Premiering on Fox June 30, Fred Savage’sWhat Just Happened??! is a new aftershow all about sci-fi series The Flare. It includes everything a devoted fan could possibly want: fervent post-episode discussions, interviews with the stars of the show, even set visits. The catch? The Flare doesn’t actually exist. It is a completely made up, fictional project. But that’s not what What Just Happened??! would have you believe.

Though viewers are very much in on the joke, the new spoof show is deeply committed to keeping up the whole Flare ruse. Fox created an entire website dedicated to TJ Whitford, whose acclaimed (and also made up) novel The Moon Is the Sun at Night has been adapted for The Flare. His site includes a very detailed bio, as well as a page for events and books (The Moon Is the Sun at Night is conveniently sold out). "Terrance John Whitford is one of America’s most mysterious and prolific authors. In a career spanning over five decades, he’s published dozens of short stories, articles, and letters to the editor, but none of his work can match the cultural relevance of his seminal 6 part science fiction series; The Moon Is the Sun At Night," the site’s about page reads.

Offscreen, Shiri Appleby and Kevin Zegers (both stars of the fictional Flare) have shared photos on social media promoting the made-up show and book. There’s even a fake trailer for the series! If you didn’t know anything about What Just Happened??!, you’d definitely think The Flare is real — and in fact, some of Appleby and Zegers’ followers seem convinced it is. "Looking forward to it," commented one fan on the video Appleby shared of the fake trailer. "Omg! So excited! Is there an actual release date?" wrote another.

During an interview with TV Insider, Savage explained that What Just Happened??! isn’t meant to make fun of aftershows, such as AMC’s The Talking Dead or Netflix’s Beyond Stranger Things, but actually, to celebrate them. "We wanted to do something fun that would make us laugh. I can’t believe we convinced Fox to let us do it!" he told the outlet. "We’re not trying to parody anything or make anyone look silly. Every one of us has that thing that we love. We’re embracing and celebrating the fervor of fandom."

The premise for What Just Happened??! is arguably one of the weirdest ideas for a television series ever, let alone one on a major broadcaster like Fox, which doesn’t typically have aftershows — and certainly not fake aftershows. The unique project is likely a result of Savage’s development deal with the network, which he inked in 2016 while starring in the since-canceled Grinder.

It will be interesting to see where Savage takes What Just Happened??!, if he can pull off such a complicated, high-concept idea, and what that might lead to at Fox if successful. Who knows, if people love What Just Happened??!, maybe Savage will actually make The Flare into a real show.

Is Former 'Teen Mom' Star Farrah Abraham An Anti-Vaxxer?

Farrah Abraham may have just gone a little too far for some Teen Mom fans. Jessica Biel surprised the world recently when she took a stand against vaccinations. The actress joined a group of lobbyists to fight a new law in California that supported vaccinating children from diseases, such as the measles. While Biel’s stance shocked her fanbase, she is not the only person on television that supports the anti-vaccination movement.

Farrah Abraham speaks out against vaccinations

Abraham recently talked about the anti-vaxxers and admitted that she completely agrees with their ideology. In fact, not only does she think that people should not be vaccinating their children, but she oddly compared her argument to the abortion debate — at least when it comes to free choice.

“I think it’s all good with the anti-vaccinations,”Abraham shared.

] Abraham admitted that she debated whether or not to get herdaughter, Sophia, vaccinated against life-threatening diseases. The realitystar worried about her daughter getting sick, despite the very real risk of hercontracting a disease that the vaccinations would prevent.

She then stated that children sometimes die after beingvaccinated, though she failed to mention that many of these deaths are becauseof an allergy to the medications.

Farrah Abraham believes vaccinations should not be required

At the end of the day, Abraham thinks that the decision tovaccinate should be left up to the parents. She even compared the issue to howwomen should have the right to choose when it comes to abortion.

For Abraham, she believes that parents should only vaccinate whenthey feel like it will benefit their family. She also said that she agrees witheverything that Biel has been doing and that the new law in California, whichwould prevent people from denying vaccinations based on believes, should not bepassed.

After she made headlines, Biel attempted to clear the air about her stance against vaccinations. The actress told her followers on social media that she fully supports vaccinations for children. But, like Farrah Abraham, Biel feels as though parents should be able to decide if their kids get vaccinated or not.

For Biel, the debate is more about parental rights than anythingelse, at least that’s what she tried to argue. She also revealed that she has afriend whose child could not get vaccinated due to a medical condition, whichis why she got involved in the issue in the first place.

Farrah Abraham fully supports Biel

Abraham did not end her argument there. The reality star went onto praise Biel for advocating what is best for all of the parties involved. Shethen addressed another problem that arises when children do not get vaccinated. This includes how schools prohibit children from attending if they do not havethe proper vaccinations.

There are, of course, good reasons why these rules are in placeas they help safeguard other children from getting serious diseases.

Overall, Farrah Abraham believes the system is not equal, though she is open to the idea of vaccinations when it comes to her own kids. In fact, the former Teen Mom star revealed that her daughter was vaccinated and that everything worked out just fine.

Abraham now has her daughter taking online classes for schoolingso that she can travel with her. Before their trips around the world, however,Abraham made sure her daughter was fully vaccinated against potential diseases.

Fans criticize Farrah Abraham’s mom for how she raised her

This past week, fans took to social media and criticizedAbraham’s mother, Debra Danielsen, for how she raised her. After one fan askedif Danielsen feels like a failure in light of Abraham’s behavior, she revealedthat she has no regrets with how she raised the Teen Mom alum. She alsosaid that everyone makes their own decisions and she raised Abraham will allthe love and empathy she could muster.

Farrah Abraham rose to fame starring on MTV’s popular realityseries, 16 and Pregnant. She also appeared on Teen Mom and TeenMom OG before being fired from the franchise in 2018 amid severalcontroversies. Abraham has not commented on the backlash she has received forbeing an anti-vaxxer.

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge announced an autumn tour to Pakistan

Such passive aggressive announcements, we have to stan. We’re back to the phase where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have to remind everyone of their existence as soon as Prince Harry and Meghan do anything. Last Thursday, the Sussexes’ communications office announced that the Sussexes would be doing a tour of South Africa (with Archie), and that Harry would then travel alone to Malawi, Angola and Botswana. The announcement was expected, and there were also rumors that the Cambridges would be announcing a fall tour at some point soon too. Well, the Cambridges announced it alright… just as everyone was enjoying the surprise photos of Harry and Meghan at the Yankees v. Red Sox ball game in London. To be 100% fair, the baseball game seemed to be over by the time the Kensington Palace announced the Cambridges’ new upcoming tour. But also to be fair, the Cambridges announced this late on a Saturday evening just so the Sussexes wouldn’t dominate the headlines all weekend. So petty. LMAO.

As for the tour, William and Kate are going to Pakistan. The KP announcement was this: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will undertake an official visit to Pakistan this autumn, at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.” They want you to know that they ALSO get requested by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, not just Harry and Meghan! They don’t have a timeline yet, which is pretty standard – the dates probably will be coordinated with Harry and Meghan’s tour so they’re not stepping on each other’s newscycles.

I still don’t know what possessed the Kensington Palace office to announce this little tidbit late on a Saturday evening in London OTHER than to step on the Sussexes newscycle. Super-obvious, but I prefer it this way. Let’s just have the competition out in the open, it will make both couples better working royals.

While his 2GB colleagues earn millions, Bill Crews gets a casual rate

He supports gay rights, voluntary euthanasia and decriminalising illicit drug use. He's a father of four whose messy divorce became tabloid fodder. He's even been accused of inflaming racial tensions.

He's also a 75-year-old Christian minister working for conservative Sydney station 2GB*.

"People often ask me, 'Are you really a minister?'" says Reverend Bill Crews, whose Sunday night program attracts more than a quarter of Sydney's radio audience. "If they don't know my show, they assume it'll be a church service with hymns; that I'll be pouring conservative Christian ideology down their throats."

In fact, Crews opens each broadcast with a quote from the Islamic poet Rumi: "Come, come, whoever you are … it doesn't matter." Recent guests include a musical theatre star, a union leader and a psychologist – but current members of parliament are banned, lest they pollute the airwaves with scripted talking points. When the show launched in 2002, he had two friends at the helm: atheist Brian Carlton, who gave him a crash course in radio, and gay man Jason Kerr, who remains his producer to this day. (Crews began campaigning for marriage equality more than two decades ago.)

His audience includes people of all faiths and none. "But I never ask the callers to tell me," he says. "Why does it matter?"

In many ways, Crews is the the opposite of his high-profile colleagues at 2GB. While they negotiate multi-million contracts, like Ray Hadley who has reportedly signed a $24 million deal over six years, he gets a standard casual rate – the equivalent of a fill-in presenter. Instead of blaming gamblers for their addiction, he puts the onus on poker machine venues and governments. He supports refugees and opposes the school chaplaincy program.

When people are abused, you have to give them a voice.

"But I've never been censored," he insists. "I just say what I think."

As a young man, Crews worked as an engineer for electronics manufacturer AWA while volunteering at the Wayside Chapel in Kings Cross. His "calling" came out of the blue. "It wasn't a voice but a 'knowing'; I just knew I had to quit my job and work here."

In 1986, he was ordained as the minister of Ashfield's Uniting Church, where he established the Exodus Foundation. Now, Exodus feeds up to 1000 people in need every day in its Loaves and Fishes restaurant. (Crews' friend, multimillionaire ad man John Singleton, came up with the catchy name –much better than a dreary "soup kitchen" – and helped fund the project.) It also offers free medical and dental services.

"When I got the calling, I also got a sense there could be some turmoil in my private life," he says, though he doesn't want to rake over his divorce.

Crews was criticised over this memorial to the so-called ‘comfort women’ of World War II. ‘It was the right thing to do,’ he says.Credit:James Brickwood

"We’re all born wounded and we're all limping along this road called life. If we can link arms with someone for a while, then maybe we can support each other."

Not that he shies away from controversy. A few years ago, he installed a bronze statue at Ashfield: a memorial to the so-called "comfort women" who were kidnapped and raped by Japanese military in World War II. The Australia-Japan Community Network lodged a complaint against the Church under Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act, claiming the statue would encourage "racial bullying" of Japanese people in Sydney.

The complaint was dismissed.

"When people are abused and they have no voice, you have to give them a voice," Crews says.
"[Erecting the memorial] was the right thing to do."

Last year, two homeless men sat down for dinner at Loaves and Fishes. After the first man finished, he removed his false teeth and gave them to his friend so that he could eat, too.

"Everyone is inherently deserving of respect and compassion and the way the world is at the moment, there's not a lot of that around," Crews says. "The way to exhibit that is to work with the poorest of the poor and the most marginalised."

Sunday Night Crews airs 9pm each week on 2GB.
*Nine, the owner of this masthead, has a majority stake in Macquarie Media, owner of 2GB.

5 Shows to Watch If You Love ‘FRIENDS’

Love Friends? You are one of many who wish the iconic NBC show never went off the air. While we may never see shows that have the same impact as the cult classic, writers have made it a point to follow the tried and true layout. Do you know what that means? It means you can plop down on the couch and binge watch shows that will give you the irreplaceable Friends vibes with a whole new set of characters.

Sure, we can’t bring back Monica Gellar or Joey Tribbiani, but we can at least relish in the fact that other shows are out there carrying the torch!

‘How I Met Your Mother’

Die-hard fans of Friends shouldn’t be afraid to give How I Met Your Mother a try. When the show first dropped, many viewers actually felt the two shows were TOO much alike. As such, HIMYM is seen as a blatant ripoff of the 1994 classic.

In Friends, you have three women and three men trying to get by in NYC while juggling perplexing relationships with each other and the dog eat dog world around them. In How I Met Your Mother, you have three men and two women with unique relationships, also striving to make ends meet in the Big Apple.

Sure, it looks like a carbon copy, but HIMYM is much more than that. It’s a series that features nonlinear storytelling, format experimentation, a surprisingly sophisticated writing style, and the lovable Neil Patrick Harris! Sure, the ending could have been better, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth the ride.

‘New Girl’

Unlike How I Met Your Mother, New Girl takes place in a different metropolis – Los Angeles. It does offer other, more essential overlaps with Friends though. The series features a group of friends who spend an unusual amount of time hanging out in their apartment. They also chit chat about their personal and professional lives daily.

New Girl offers a complicated relationship between two of its characters as well. There’s an on-again-off-again relationship between its very own version of Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, Zooey Deschanel and Jake Johnson.

The similarities don’t end there. This Fox show does a great job of balancing side-splitting comedy and hard-hitting drama that will have you going from laughter to tears in a heartbeat. Oh, and it just wrapped up last year so you can binge the whole thing in one marathon sitting if you really wanted!

‘The Big Bang Theory’

Looking for another show that’s already wrapped up for a high-quality binge session? Check out The Big Bang Theory. While the series didn’t seem like it would be like Friends when it premiered, it evolved into a show that mirrors the basic dynamics of its predecessor. It kicks off in sunny Pasadena, with the female protagonist Penny moving into a building filled to the brim with awkward, nerdy scientists — not exactly the most prominent Friends vibe.

Eventually, the show becomes a rag-tag ensemble that tackles love, work, and friendship issues. Even if you don’t think The Big Bang Theory and Friends relate as much as other shows on the list, it’s more than worth the watch thanks to the hilarious shenanigans jam-packed into every episode. Oh, and then there’s Jim Parsons amazing character that’s so great he inspired a spin-off!

Seinfeld, unlike the other show listed above, kicked off before Friends took over the comedy sitcom market. Just like Friends, you have a group of close-knit buds that call the streets of New York City home. Just like Friends, your lovable cast always finds themselves wrapped up in all kinds of insane scenarios.

If you loved Friends but also have a dark sense of humor, you will adore Seinfeld. In fact, many of the earliest episodes of Friends reportedly took inspiration from scripts that didn’t make it into its Seinfeld. So long as your prepared for a cynical ride with a stricter plotline, this serieswill help fill the gap that Friends left behind.

‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’

Tina Fey’s Netflix original is one of the newest shows to grace this list. While all of the other shows have also wrapped up, UKS offers the additional benefit of being easily accessible on the popular streaming platform.

What makes UKS and Friends similar? The same thing that makes Friends align with so many other shows on the list. It takes place in New York and features an intriguing group of people who are doing everything they can to navigate moneymaking and dating in the city that never sleeps.

It’s a relatable journey with an unforgettable cast and long-form story arcs that are bound to keep you invested from start to finish.
