Which of course sucks. It seems we need security cameras around our cars. Bright side. . . at least pay your BMW insurance for the dealership willing to repair it. I have heard that some insurance companies do not pay labor market.
Is this the reason it takes 2 to 3 months to fix? just curious because i always owned japanese cars and never came close to being stuck at the dealer for a long time.
I don’t know why it’s taking so long, there’s a bunch of paint flying around in the trunk that was there when I bought the car, and it took a month and a half to get it out. Hodai put me in the Santa Fe they’re waiting for. Terrible

I prefer 30 days. Just a 92yo guy we take my wife’s right side brand new G37 and it was 30 days to a very decent shop.
One thing that has bothered me, even the big insurance companies, is the policy of using the “custom” parts that are available. For a new car like yours, that’s BS, make sure you ask for new BMW parts in this repair, but they won’t take it for granted without a fight.
