Sir Tom Jones is known for his sultry vocal stylings, and his hit songs like What’s New Pussycat and It’s Not Unusual. He has been in the business for 55 years, and in that time he has met a lot of people – notably many women. One woman, who claimed to have a three year affair with the singer, has spoken out about how his wife Linda, who died of cancer in 2016, “turned a blind eye.”
Charlotte Laws, who claimed to have a three year relationship with Sir Tom, said the singer indicated he had an “open marriage,” and his wife chose not to make an “issue” of his various dalliances.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2015: “We did have a conversation about it the first night and he indicated he had an open marriage.
“He said it was more of a “don’t ask, don’t tell” relationship.
“Linda knew and didn’t choose to make an issue of it. She wanted to stay married to him, that was basically what he told me in a nutshell.

“Tom told me his mum [Linda, his son Mark’s mum] knew he was dating. Mark, who was his manager, liked me.
“My father had ten or 15 cars and I’d turn up in these different Mercedes and Mark would be excited because he’d borrow my cars. He is only three years older than me.
“Tom is quite possessive and was always worried I would fancy Mark. But I adored Tom.”
Of course, it has also been repeated that Linda was not always fine with his dalliances, as was reported in an interview with Sir Tom with the Sunday Times in 2015.

Sir Tom has not shied away from speaking about his dalliances, and has even admitted he would sleep with 250 women a year at the height of his fame.
Other than the former Miss World, he also has had reported romances with stars such as Mary Wilson from The Supremes, and modern Katherine Berkery, with whom he has a son called Jonathan.
Linda, Sir Tom’s wife, was born just streets apart from him in Pontypridd, South Wales, and the pair married when they were just 16 years old.
Linda was pregnant with their son, Mark, who was born just a month after their wedding.
It is widely claimed that Linda was somewhat of a recluse while Sir Tom toured, and chose not enjoy the limelight and take part in any of her husband’s musical endeavours.
However, when Linda died 2016, Sir Tom was devastated, and spoke of his pain at her passing.
In 2017, Sir Tom said of her death in a conversation with The Sun: “I’m still trying to get over that. I don’t think I ever will, so the last thing on my mind is marriage.”
He also told Lorraine Kelly on her TV show: “Music is saving my life.”
