Strictly Come Dancings Ellie Taylor wows with glowing bare-faced selfie

Ellie Taylor has unveiled a stunning selfie that showed fans she doesn't need all the Strictly sparkle to look gorgeous.

The comedian and TV star, 38, is dazzling viewers on the dancefloor on the BBC ballroom contest.

But the Mock The Week starlet looked just as ravishing in a snap showing her without a scrap of makeup on.

The selfie showed Basildon lass Ellie grabbing a snack in between rehearsals for the BBC ballroom contest, clad in a comfy-looking black top and snuggly red hoodie.

Her long brown hair was tied back in a messy ponytail, a far cry from the well-groomed, bouncing curls she sports on Strictly.

She was bare-faced and positively glowing as she beamed at the camera and told fans: "Another day being an athlete eating a sausage roll from a service station."

"Eat Clean Train Dirty," she's captioned the cute shot.

When she signed up for the show, Ellie said it was a "total dream come true" but admitted to some nerves.

"I cannot begin to explain how excited/terrified I am," she wrote. "I promise that what I lack in dancing ability and spacial awareness I’ll make up for in fake tan and enthusiasm."

The brunette is paired with pro Johannes Radebe and said she was "over the b***** moon" when she was told that they would be dancing together.

Posting on Instagram, she said: "@johannesradebe is all I ever wanted – he’s everything you’d hope he’d be and so much more.

"The most patient teacher to this carthouse of a partner he’s been forced to hitch his wagon to. God we have laughed, and only 50% of the time it’s at my coordination."
