Katherine is a journalist on BBC and often works alongside Naga when she gives viewers the sports coverage.

On Thursday (October 6), Naga bid an emotional farewell to a friend and co-star as he moved onto a future career.

Last month, Owain Wyn announced he was leaving the BBC by tweeting: "SOME NEWS. I’m joining BBC Radio 2!

"From January I’ll be presenting the new Early Breakfast Show live from gorgeous Cardiff, making it the first daily Radio 2 show to be broadcast from Wales.

"I can't wait to get started."

Among the many followers to congratulate Owain on his big career move was his BBC Breakfast colleague Naga.

In an emotional post, the former Strictly Come Dancing star, 47, shared her best wishes for her exiting co-star, writing in a reply: "CONGRATULATIONS!! X"

Owain was quick to reply to Naga's well-wishes and responded: "Thank you, Naga!

"I am [very] sad that I won't be able to share a little Sat morning innuendo induced raised eyebrow and pursed lip with you on Breakfast anymore but [very] excited for the new show!"

Naga was swiftly followed by other fans wanting to wish Owain well.

One fan wrote: "Fabulous news, Owain. Congratulations!!"

Another commented: "Amazing news, Owain…you were always destined for great things! Really pleased for you."
