Mike Tindalls daughter had funny observation about his time on Im A Celeb

Mike Tindall has revealed that one aspect of his I'm A Celebrity stint baffled his daughter – his lack of Bushtucker trials.

The rugby ace came fourth in the latest series of the ITV reality show, with footballer Jill Scott crowned Queen of the Jungle.

While Mike did some challenges during his time in the jungle, the outcry over former health secretary Matt Hancock doing the show saw viewers vote for the politician to do a chunk of the gruelling trials.

Mike has now admitted that Mia, his eight-year-old daughter with his wife Zara Phillips, didn't think he did that many.

Speaking on The Good, The Bad And The Rugby podcast, he said Mia asked her mum why he "didn’t do more trials".

Mike, 44, was in the jungle for nearly the entire competition, with only Jill, Matt and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner staying longer than he did.

But he confessed that he wouldn't have minded being eliminated a little earlier to spend some time with Zara and their children, who had jetted Down Under to meet him when he left camp.

Mike and Zara have been married since 2011 and they have three children – Mia, daughter Lena, four, and one-year-old son Lucas.

During his time in camp, the sports star shared that he and Zara hit it off when they went out for the first time after they found out that they "both quite like getting smashed".

He said: "First actual date, just went out for lunch locally. And ended up being quite a boozy one.

"Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed."
