Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have admitted that they do have their own struggles in their relationship.
The couple spoke to British GQ Style after posing for the magazine's Autumn/Winter 2021 issue.
This is the first shoot that Kelly, 31 and Fox, 35, have done together.
They opened up about what people don't see behind the cameras in their very public relationship.
Kelly said: "It should be light, but also we go to hell with each other, it's ecstasy and agony for sure… I don't want people to think anything's perfect with us.
"I didn't say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason."
Kelly met Megan Fox while on set filming Midnight in the Switchgrass.
The couple has been officially dating since May 2020 but went public with their relationship on their red carpet in November.
Fox explained how she wasn't expecting to meet her "soulmate" when she first met Kelly.
She said:"[I was] definitely open [to] love, but I did not anticipate walking right into my soulmate like that.
"I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened, it was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect."
This is not the first time the couple have spoken out about their relationship and the first time they met.
Fox told The Washington Post that she only worked on the film with Kelly for two days but still found a "magical" connection with him.
She explained: "The first time I looked into his eyes, I was like, 'I know you. I have known you so many times, in so many different forms, in so many different lives.'"
She added how she "wasn't expecting it'd be like, 'God, you are my soulmate,' instantly."
Both Kelly and Fox have children from previous relationships.
Fox has three sons, Noah, 9, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 5 who she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green and Kelly has one daughter, Casie who is 13-years-old.
