Love Island star Hugo Hammond has urged his fellow cast mate Jake Cornish to be more reassuring to his girlfriend Liberty Poole.
It comes as water engineer Jake and his girlfriend Liberty have been facing mounting struggles in their relationship over the past week on the show.
They are the show's longest-standing couple after coupling up since the very first week, but Liberty has recently expressed worries over her boyfriend's intentions following the Movie Night challenge which saw Jake admit he didn't fancy her physically.
The blonde babe become increasingly skeptical over Jake's behaviour after seeing how he egged on the boys to try it on with the singletons in Casa Amor.
Hugo, who recently left the villa with Casa Amor bombshell Amy Day, has now addressed Jake and Liberty's relationship.
And the 24-year-old Hampshire hunk had some rather stern advice for his fellow Island lad in how to treat Liberty properly as her boyfriend.
Discussing Jake and Liberty on Heat's Under The Duvet alongside his fellow villa stars Lucinda Strafford and Lillie Haynes, Hugo revealed that he thinks Jake needs to start complimenting Liberty more as his girlfriend.
When asked if he thought Jake and Liberty had a shot at winning the show, Hugo said: "I'm 'Milliam for the win [Millie and Liam].

"But I think with Jake, he needs to like not just say 'you're my girlfriend'.
"Not 'oh you're my girlfriend, you're my girlfriend', be like "You know I'm into you", give her compliments.
"Bit of back and forth, say like what he likes about her rather than just 'you're my girlfriend, I wouldn't do that'."

Hugo's co-stars Lucinda and Lillie appeared to agree, with the pair nodding along, saying "yeah!".
In a teaser for tonight's episode, Jake could be seen talking to Liberty about their relationship – suggesting that it could be all over.
In the clip, Jake said: "Ever since the movie night onwards, I feel like it's just not been the same.
"Millie's my type, Mary's my type, I know a good looking girl, I appreciate a good-looking girl, but you’re my girlfriend."
It comes after Liberty shared her concerns over Jake's authenticity, claiming that he could just be playing up for the cameras.
During Thursday's episode, Tyler Cruikshank asked Liberty's best pal Kaz Kamwi to be exclusive with him – but when Liberty wanted to go and celebrate with her – Jake stopped her.
Liberty seemed to find it strange behaviour and proceeded to confide in the girls about the moment, thinking it could be because he was playing up for the cameras.
Liberty confronted Jake and said: "I know you say sometimes, like, remember we are on a TV show but at the same time what makes it good is just you being yourself, do you know what I mean?

"And tonight, me wanting to run up and hug Kaz as soon as she came down the stairs, it was a natural reaction for me."
Jake shot back: “Yeah, my god, serious? I just thought it would be nice for you to have your own alone time with Kaz not with everyone there.”
Liberty even confided in Chloe Burrows, saying: "I know what I bring to the table, I am the table, with the f***ing fruit on it.
"If he's taking me for granted then he's not the one for me babe."
Chloe responded: "You're no one's mug, bruv."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
