Gwyneth Paltrow found her own way to get though the coronavirus lockdown.
The 48-year-old actress confessed that she had “multiple drinks seven nights a week” during the last year that she was quarantined at home due to the pandemic and that she went “totally off the rails”.
Speaking to the Mirror the creator of healthy lifestyle brand Goop said she came up with her own “fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow” made from quinoa whiskey.
Gwyneth admitted to the publication: “I drank alcohol during quarantine. I was drinking seven nights a week and making pasta and eating bread.
“I went totally off the rails. I mean, who drinks multiple drinks seven nights a week? Like that’s not healthy.
She went on to say: “I love whiskey and I make this fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow, which I named after my grandfather who loved whiskey sours.
“And it’s this great quinoa whiskey from this distillery in Tennessee with maple syrup and lemon juice. It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine.”
Gwyneth clarified that she was “not, like black-out” drunk but did confess that she still craves a cigarette when drinking, saying: “I miss it.”
She has previously cut her smoking down to one a week in a show of moderation.
Meanwhile her Netflix show The Goop Lab is currently filming for its second season after being renewed “by the skin of its teeth” according to a source.

The show premiered last January and saw Gwyneth and her right-hand woman, chief content officer Elise Loehnen, delve into a different wellness topic each episode but failed to make a massive impact.
Last week her ‘double sided wand vibrator’ sold out on her Goop website in under 24 hours.
The actress announced the news in an Instagram post to her 7.15million, writing: “"The @goop vibrator that sold out in less than 24 hours is finally back in stock.
