Dani Dyer isn’t closing her heart off to new romance, two months after splitting from the father of her son.
The former Love Island star, 24, split from boyfriend Sammy Kimmence in June, after he was jailed for three and a half years for defrauding two pensioners out of nearly £34,000.
Sammy is the father of Dani’s seven-month-old son Santiago, and the pair originally got together after Dani’s villa romance with Jack Fincham fizzled out.
But now it looks like Dani is once again open to love.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, a source said: "Dani needs to let the dust settle but she would be open to meeting someone new.
"She’s a girlfriend type of girl, she loves having a partner and she wears her heart on her sleeve."
The source added: "She’s always wanted that happy family dynamic so she’d love to find happiness with someone new."
The source added that Dani’s family have been a constant source of support since Sammy’s sentencing, with dad Danny Dyer being "especially supportive" as Dani fights to stay strong.
It comes after Sammy, 25, conned Peter Martin, 91, and Peter Haynes, 81, out of nearly £34,000 by persuading them to let him invest their cash for him.
But far from making valuable investments, Sammy instead splashed the cash on lavish holidays for himself, along with dinners and fancy clothes.
Prior to Sammy’s sentencing, Dani admitted she was planning to have a second child within the next 24 months – but it looks like his jailing could affect her plans.
Speaking on YouTube before the court appearance, Dani said: "I’ll probably wait until Santi is two.
"I don’t feel like you can plan these things. I feel like when I’m ready.
"I don't want to rush it…people who have babies like two under one. I reckon it's amazing when they're older because they're best friends.
"But that must be difficult. But I feel like you can't plan. I'm literally just loving being Santi's mummy at the minute and I'm enjoying just him growing up and I really want to just cherish these moments and not rush it."
Single mum Dani has been enjoying a Spanish getaway with her family after Sammy’s conviction, but has not spoken out about the hearing’s outcome.
Instead, she captured precious moments with dad Danny and adorable Santiago, along with her brother Arty, sister Sunnie, mum Joanne Mas, and grandparents.
