Dancing On Ices Connor Ball enjoys romantic Christmas getaway with girlfriend

Connor Ball has taken time out of his busy Dancing On Ice training routine and jetted Stateside for a Christmas break.

The musician, 25, is used to performing across the world as one-quarter of pop band The Vamps but is now getting used to ice skating after signing up for the 14th season of the ITV show.

However, while training is getting underway ahead of the first episode early next year, Connor had opted for a less-traditional Christmas in Blighty and fancied an American getaway.

The star who recently stepped out with a solo project, The Lunar Year, away from The Vamps and girlfriend Lucee posed for an array of romantic snaps during their break in New York City.

Taking to Instagram in view of his 823,000 followers, Connor and his girlfriend could be seen posing for selfies in front of the Brooklyn Bridge and in a hotel lift looking as loved up as ever.

Captioning his post, the Back For More singer penned: "Merry Christmas you lot."

His upload that has since generated over 25,000 likes was soon flooded with comments from his legion of adoring fans.

One penned: "Merry Christmas sweetie."

While a second added: "Merry Christmas! you gorgeous couple!!!"

"The best couple ever xxx," gushed a third.

Before a fourth typed: "Merry Christmas to my fav people [sic]."

Last month, Connor announced his pop-punk project alongside Sam Macek as well as teasing fans with a new EP.

Alongside new releases, there is also tonnes of new merchandise, with Connor showing it off on Twitter and stating that he "can’t wait to wear these every day forever".

Speaking about his upcoming appearance on Dancing On Ice, he told Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp: "I'm excited obviously but I'm really nervous.

"I'm quite clumsy, accident-prone, ice is hard, it was pretty hard to keep the secret.

"The rest of the band know, they're super excited for me."

Dancing On Ice is set to return to ITV next month.
