Christine McGuinness on top of the world as she moves on from ex Paddy

Christine McGuiness let fans in on how she was feeling following her split from Paddy McGuinness, with a very telling post on her Instagram story.

The mum-of-three, 34, shared a video montage of herself letting her hair down as she enjoyed her single life, where she's snapped getting her hair done and visiting landmarks in the capital.

A sample of Imagine Dragons' track On Top of the World played over the video to suggest she too was feeling better than ever after the split.

The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star also shared an image of herself with several bags of luggage and a film camera as she hinted at an exciting new ''magic" project.

Although it's unclear what her project is, her optimistic caption read: "And suddenly you know. It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings."

Christine's cryptic post comes two weeks after the celebrity pair announced their shock split following weeks of speculation that their 11-year marriage was in jeopardy.

Her loyal fans were thrilled she was happy after the break-up and shared their support in the comment section.

One loving fan penned: "That's absolutely true, new hairstyle, new life begins. Wishing you love and very best wishes in your new ventures."

Another user wrote: "Go Christine, hold your head up high and go for it."

A third added: "You're a strong, amazing lady, you have a lovely smile, keep that smile… you go, girl."

Christine and Paddy – who are still living together – share three children, Leo and Penelope, nine, and Felicity, six.

The couple announced the split last month in a joint statement on both of their Instagram Stories.

Breaking the news of their separation to fans on Instagram, they wrote: "A while ago, we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.

"This was not an easy decision to make but we are moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.

"We'll always be a loving family. We still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together."
