Celebs Go Datings Nikita Jasmine sees huge career boost after MAFS UK axe

Reality star Nikita Jasmine has gone from zero to hero.

The model found herself hated when she was booted off Married At First Sight UK for bad behaviour in the autumn.

She received abuse online and had strangers calling her scum.

But five months on, her stint on Celebs Go Dating has turned things around.

Viewers have seen a different side to the 27-year-old from County Durham… and they love her.

Nikita told the Daily Star Sunday: “People saw me kicking off on Married At First Sight and social media blew up. It was bedlam.

“People were sending me loads of hate online and I even had negativity in public.

"I had a guy on a train telling me the show was embarrassing, and people in supermarkets saying I was the scum of the earth.

“Those people didn’t know me – they only knew what they’d seen on TV. It wasn’t right the way people spoke to me.

“But since Celebs Go Dating started people have seen me being daft and funny. I get a lot more love now. I get a lot of good comments.”

Nikita will be forever grateful to the dating show’s producers for giving her a chance to rebuild her reputation.

She added: “When you do a reality show and you get booted off, that sticks with people.

“So I’m so glad I had the opportunity to do Celebs Go Dating.”

Now that Nikita has won over viewers, she has also seen a major boost to her career.

In recent weeks she has had a string of lucrative offers, including photoshoots and a deal to be the face of a new product.

She said: “I’ve been really busy – it’s fab.

“I knew I was going to be busy, but I’ve barely had time to breathe. I love being busy.”

There is still one more week of Celebs Go Dating to go.

And it sounds as though it won’t be long before Nikita is back on the box.

She added: “I’m open to anything. I don’t want to say a specific show because I don’t want to jinx it.

“Whatever comes my way, I’ll be open to it.”
