Carole Baskin has become notorious for her role in Netflix's Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness as Joe Exotic's arch-nemesis.
The 59-year-old CEO of Florida’s Big Cat Rescue was embroiled in a bitter feud with Joe Maldonado-Passage that eventually exposed a murder-for-hire plot and Exotic's imprisonment.
Carole has both shot to fame for the seven-part series and faced mounting speculation about the disappearance of her former husband Don Lewis.
Just one year since Netflix's Tiger King broke the internet, Carole Baskin has also gone on to appear in Dancing With The Stars and enjoyed success in a number of projects.
Here, we take a look at her current net-worth after gaining international fame.
Carole Baskin's net worth
Carole Baskin is rumored to be worth around $10 million (£7 million) but over half of her enormous fortune is said to have come from her former husband Don.
The television personality and animal lover was married to the multi-millionaire in 1991 but he mysteriously disappeared in 1997.
The businessman was declared legally dead five years later, but several fan theories have linked the mystery to Carole in the past. She has always denied all the claims.

Since finding Netflix fame, Carole has also revealed that she hardly profits from running Big Cat Rescue and had earned the same salary as other staff at the centre for the last few years.
The website for the tiger sanctuary says: “All sanctuary income, whether it is from tours, donations, or a gift shop, stays in the nonprofit to support its mission.

“Carole gets none of that money, just her salary like the other employees. She works 60+ hours/week and didn’t take a paycheck for the first 20 years of the sanctuary.”
Last year, The Sun obtained financial documents that reveal Carole paid herself $65,617 (£47,000) in 2019, and her third husband Howard was paid $73,262 (£52,000).
Unfortunately, the sanctuary was also rocked by the pandemic and was forced to cancel all of their tours. The website also reveals that Carole and Howard have stopped taking a paycheck this year and were also forced to let some staff go.
Post-Tiger King fame
While Carole already boasted an impressive bank account before appearing in Tiger King, this appears to have only grown since the show.
Despite facing mounting speculation about her husband's disappearance, she has also been cast in Dancing With The Stars and enjoyed plenty of television and podcast appearances since last year.
According to Variety, contestants who appeared on DWTS earned a whopping $125,000 just for the rehearsals and had the potential to earn extra depending on how many weeks they remained in the show.
If that wasn't enough, Carole also runs a successful Cameo profile in which she charges £224 for a personalised video message for her loyal fans.
