Alesha Dixon is happily loved-up with her partner Azuka Ononye – but it's safe to say her love life has been a struggle at times.
The 43-year-old is back on screens with Simon Cowell's new ITV show Walk The Line, which sees singers try and stay on top to win £500,000 as a grand prize.
Each night, the losing singers will be left heartbroken as they're forced to go home with nothing.
And, sadly, heartbreak is something former Mis-Teeq singer Alesha knows a little bit about thanks to her former marriage to So Solid Crew's MC Harvey.
But through heartache comes happiness, and Daily Star has taken a look at the brunette bombshell's relationship journey.
Not So Solid
Alesha Dixon and MC Harvey got married in June 2005, however they split up in November after he had an affair with Javine Hylton – the beauty who didn't get a place in Girls Aloud in the Popstars: The Rivals finale.
Harvey and Javine had a daughter together, Angel, who was born in February 2008.
The duo then split up in 2009, with Javine saying at the time: "I suppose our relationship was never going to last, with the pressures of everything."
'Lost and empty'
Alesha spoke of her heartache from finding out about Harvey's affair in a 2014 episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories.
She said she felt "lost and empty" when the affair was exposed, just a year into her and Harvey's marriage.
"I didn't eat for a few days," she said. "I just remember sitting on the floor in my house.
"You ask those questions: Why? What have I done wrong?"
She even went as far as contemplating crashing her car in a "split-second thought" after finding out about the affair.
But she said: "It's not something I would ever do or was even close to doing.
"I just remember having a feeling when I was driving. I just felt so low in myself that I just thought I wouldn't care if the car crashed."
Alesha opened up this year about the end of her marriage, explaining it coincided with Mis-Teeq also splitting up.
Speaking on Apple Music for Black History Month: "When I split up with the girls, I also got married that same year, my marriage lasted a year. So, I'd split up with the girls, I entered into this marriage, then in October 2006 I had no money, my marriage had ended, I had no record deal.
"I sat there and I thought, 'All these years, everything that I've worked for. Why have I nearly lost everything? What's happening?'
"I felt like at the time, there was a lot of changes going on and a lot of things shifting and moving, and a lot of clearing out that had to be done in order for me to move on to the next level, next stage of my life.
"I had to hit rock bottom and that was the growth. That was the making of me. So the things that happened around that time that were toxic and negative, they were the making of me."
Forgive and move on
Earlier in 2021, Harvey claimed that Alesha had secretly forgiven him and that they met up at his stepdad's funeral.
The rapper said that Alesha and her long-term partner Azuka Ononye attended his stepfather Ray's funeral back in 2017.
He said: "Four years ago my stepfather died, and she came to my mother’s to pay her respects with her partner. Isn’t that unbelievable?"
Harvey went on: "When Alesha turned out with her partner, I went to the boys: 'Look after them, show them love', and the boys were like: 'One hundred percent.’ That’s because she was here for Ray, and that within itself is respect."
He claimed Alesha spent £500 on flowers for the funeral car and had an emotional phone call afterwards.
He said on the Anything Goes With James English podcast: "Alesha then rang me, six months before I met my wife, and she said: ‘I just want you to be happy, Harv.’
"I apologised to her about what happened in the past, we had a mature conversation. We talked about our kids, I said to her: ‘Your kids are beautiful.’ She said: ‘Your kids are beautiful.’"
Alesha has been with Azuka Ononye for almost 10 years and they have a gorgeous little family together.
The Britain's Got Talent judge announced on her 35th birthday in October 2013 that she had welcomed their first child a week before – a daughter named Azura Sienna.
And in 2019, they welcomed their second child after Alesha announced the pregnancy on BGT's first live semi-final.
Their second child, another girl, is called Anaya Safiya.
Alesha admitted that becoming a mum had changed her for the better.
She told The Mirror: "Being a mum has made me a better person because I'm always mindful of my behaviour.
"Obviously there is still a rebellious side in me and I'm young at heart, but for the most part I'm quite sensible."
She added: "My children keep me grounded. Everything I'm doing now is to make sure they have a great future and to protect them."
No wedding bells
Despite being together since 2012, dancer and model Azuka is yet to put a ring on Alesha's finger – though that isn't to say he hasn't tried.
Alesha joked that he's "given up" on proposing, telling Fabulous magazine: "We just go with the flow. It's not really something we've discussed."
She previously had to deny that they'd got married when fans spotted a ring on Azuka's finger.
Alesha insisted: "It's not a wedding ring! It's just a ring I bought him for his birthday.
"We're not married! Look, we'll never say never… but I would never completely rule out anything, but it's dependent on a lot of things.
"And there are times when I think, 'Nope, not a hope in hell!'
