A Place in the Sun star Laura Hamilton has taken to her Instagram to address her follower’s concerns after she shared a cryptic post.
To mark World Mental Health Day the 37-year-old shared a quote about helping those who are down.
The presenter said that the post sparked concern from many of her fans who sent messages to the star to check she was okay.
Yesterday, Laura took to her Instagram Stories to urge people to be kind as she revealed she had a lot of “c**p” going on in her life.
To her 137,000 followers, she said: "I just wanted to come on here and post this story this morning because I had a few people contact me yesterday saying, 'Laura is everything OK?’
"It was World Mental Health day yesterday and like lots of us on social media, I choose to post a lot of the glamorous things in my life.
"Whether I'm travelling abroad to sunny destinations or I'm glammed up for an event, obviously on my social media, I post that.”
The mother-of-two went on to say: "I don't often post when there's cr*p going on in my life or I'm busy running a business.

"[Or] I'm running around after children, which I was doing a lot this weekend, but that isn't to say that there isn't stuff going on in my life.
"Sometimes I choose not to talk about it to protect the people around me and out of respect.”
In a caption on her post, she added: "Behind the smile there can be cr*p too, so be kind.”

It comes after last month the star revealed the extent of her health issue Immune thrombocytopenia, an autoimmune bleeding disorder characterised by abnormally low levels of blood cells, which is referred to as thrombocytopenia.
Laura shared a close-up photo of her bruised arms and told fans her gums have been bleeding.
She wrote on her page: "This week I might have posted a few photos in pretty dresses, but this is the reality of what is underneath and what you can’t see…
"I have had bruising on my arms and my gums have been bleeding. This is ITP.
"Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disorder that can lead to easy or excessive bruising and bleeding.
"The bleeding results from unusually low levels of platelets — the cells that help blood clot.”
She went on to urge fellow sufferers to not let the condition hold them back from their dreams in life.
