Shane Richie is currently appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Here!
The former EastEnders star is holed up in the chilly Gwrych Castle in North Wales, living with the likes of Olympian Sir Mo Farah, author Giovanna Fletcher and radio DJ Jordan North.
The actor is battling the elements, undergoing squeamish trials and eating disgusting ‘foods’, but most fans will know him as Alfie Moon in EastEnders.

The star played the Albert Square legend from 2002 until 2019, on-and-off.
However, after all these years starring on our screens, what is his net worth?
Well, Shane, who used to be married to Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan explained, ahead of heading into the I’m A Celebrity camp, that he was now “skint”.
Surprisingly, considering his massive success, the actor told The Mirror that he was struggling for cash.
He said: “I was going on tour, doing a TV series and panto but it all got cancelled in March. Now I am literally skint!
He continued: “You save for a rainy day but you don’t expect the rainy day to last eight months.

“Thankfully, I’ve been able to borrow money from mates, my family and the bank.“
Shane also explained: “I got rid of my car but only cos I lease a car for my wife for the school run. I can get around on a moped.
“I am alright, I have had a career and if it all finishes tomorrow, so be it. If the worst comes to the worst, I’ll do stand-up or resurrect a musical.”
This may be surprising to some due to the fact that he was reportedly earring £230,000 a year during his time on EastEnders.
Shane's ex wife Coleen has admitted that she will be voting for him to do every trial.
She exclusively told OK! magazine: “I said to him, ‘I’m going to vote for you to do every trial.’”
However, she also revealed what witty Shane said in response, which was: "'Well I’ll be able to do the eating trial because I put up with your cooking for years!’
I'm A Celebrity: Inside their lives
“I couldn’t even argue because it’s very true.”
The pair were married in the nineties, but split due to Shane's infidelity.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2017, the Eastenders star said: "I'd be on TV advocating monogamy while I was having an affair."
However, the exes have two children together and have remained friendly. When asked about Shane doing the show, Coleen said: “I’m so excited!"
