Revealed: The winners of Vogue Beauty Awards 2021

The cut-price skin products cleaning up at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2021: Fashion bible praises £4.90 Vitamin B face power and £13 hydrating serum

  • British Vogue revealed winners of its annual beauty awards in its August issue
  • High street and budget-friendly brands like The Ordinary snapped up prizes 
  • More established household names like Dior, Chanel and Elemis also won prizes

Small prices have once again won big rewards at this year’s Vogue Beauty Awards, with Dove and budget-friendly picks like The Ordinary taking home prizes. 

The much-awaited beauty list hails the best products available in the beauty world, as voted by the readers of the fashion bible, who selected the winners and runner-ups of 17 categories from 136 entries. 

The Ordinary was praised for its bargain £4.95 100% Niacinamide powder, which came second in the Best Budget Beauty Star performer category. 

CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which is priced slightly higher but still at an affordable £13.60, took home first place.

Elemis’s Ultra-Smart Pro-Collagen Night Genius, which retails at £195, came first in the Skintellectual Innovators category 

Dove, one of the most popular high-street picks for creams and soaps, bagged the Inclusivity Lifetime Achievement Award. 

But select brands were also awarded prizes, with Elemis’ Ultra Smart Pro-Collagen Night Genius, which costs £195, scooping the prize for The Skintellectual Innovator category. 

This year’s picks also saw well-established brands battle out newcomers for prizes, with Fenti Skin winning the New Kid on the Block title over Hermes Make-Up. 

Household name Charlotte Tilbury also won the Modern Classic Makeup Must-Have award with her Airbrush Bronzer, priced at £39.

When it came to hair, GHD’s Max Styler, pictured, which costs £152.15, was awarded the title of Hair Styling Superstar

However, Charlotte Tilbury was beaten by Jamie Genevieve as Influencer Beauty Mogul of the Year, with the social media beauty taking home the title.  

When it comes to haircare, Olaplex’s No. 8 Moisture Mask, costing £26, won the Hair Health Pioneer title, with L’Oréal Paris Elvive 8-Second Wonder Water, costing £21.60, a deserving runner-up.  

YSL Beauty’s £36 Touche Éclat Le Teint Foundation was crowned Complexion Game-Changer of the Year, with BareMinerals Liquid Mineral Concealer, which costs £24, being awarded runner-up. 

Beauty and Lifestyle Director of British Vogue, Jessica Diner, said of this year’s list: ‘We are delighted to announce the winners of the Vogue Beauty Awards 2021.
