Joe Wicks shares emotional thank you with fans of P.E With Joe
PE With Joe was one of the only highlights which came out of lockdown during 2020, as personal trainer Joe Wicks continued to try and keep the nation fit. The 34-year-old’s live YouTube sessions were a hit with fans in the UK as well as those across the world. While PE With Joe did come to an end, he has now decided to bring the workouts back as the country once again goes into lockdown.
Tonight, Monday, January 4, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced England would go into a third national lockdown.
Despite there now being two different types of vaccines ready to treat COVID-19, the number of cases have continued to rise.
So in response, Mr Johnson has decided to close all primary and secondary schools again and encourage everyone to stay at home where possible.
While this is disappointing news for many, Joe Wicks has announced he will be trying to get the nation fit yet again.

Wicks said: “I’ve got some great news, I’ve decided I need to come back and be there for children during this time, through this lockdown when schools are closed to keep their exercise up, to keep their activities there, their energy, their mood, their mental health.
“I’m going to be doing PE with Joe live, three days a week Monday, Wednesday, Friday starting next week on the 11th.
“Children at home, they’re not being as active.
“Their mental health is going to suffer and we need to be getting our kids moving.”
