Cleaning star and social media sensation Mrs Hinch, AKA Sophie Hinchcliffe, regularly shares tips and tricks on how to keep a tidy home.

The 30 year old often advises her 3.8 million Instagram followers on clever storage solutions, style tips and ways to clean even the most obscure of items.

However, another field of expertise the cleanfluencer is often on hand to give tips on is making things smell nice, and as well all know, there is nothing worse than a pair of smelly shoes.

Recently the author of Hinch Yourself Happy took to her Instagram stories to showcase how she keeps her shoes smelling fresh.

Filming her meticulously organised closet, which has a metallic rack for her shoes built into it, she captioned the post: “That’s better I pop a tumble sheet into my shoes to keep them smelling nice.”

What a fab idea! As we know from the star’s previous tips, her favourite brand of tumble dryer sheets is Lenor.

Earlier this year the star took to Instagram to share that she even uses Lenor tumble dryer sheets, in the Spring Awakening scent, to give a smell to the bouquets of fresh flowers she has around her house.

The star shared a snap in which she is holding the tumble dryer sheets on Instagram with a bunch of her flowers in the background.

She captioned the image: “Hidden in my flowers are tumble dryer sheets!

She then continued: “Can you see them? Nope Can I smell them! YES” [sic] alongside some emojis.

Additionally, a third unconventional way Mrs Hinch uses scented tumble dryer sheets is to wipe away the dust that is stuck between her blinds.

Back in June she explained: "The reason I use tumble dryer sheets is because they’re anti-static so they pick up all the dust. You don’t need to wet them or do anything."

As well as the dryer sheets, Mrs Hinch uses her trusty Zoflora scented disinfectant on a sheet of kitchen roll to finish off the cleaning.

We're off to buy some tumble dryer sheets!
